I had to start over but I like it. Welcome to Inkcarceration Camping at Kindred Kove. I hope it works out...I just spent $7k on a restroom/shower trailer rental. My included Transportation to/from the festival cost will vary for me depending on the # of trips (my drivers will make stops for supplies for my guests). Approximately 1/2 of my sites are wooded/shaded. The other half is lakefront. Free coffee and fresh ice water and charging stations in the barn.

It took a minute, but it’s done. I just doubled the parking area. The backside is field parking. Everyone talked me into leaving this large oak tree. It needs trimmed up a bit but I think it’s beautiful.

It will be graded then seed and straw added.

Burning some brush with 5 amigos.
I found this thing. It’s not a rock. I think it’s metal. But it has my initials on it.
I walked about an acre earlier looking for mushrooms. I didn’t find any but I talked to Jason the entire time. I said, “show me something, buddy”.
And he did.
I probably would’ve s**t myself if it had said JA.

It’s around 3:14pm today, the same time that totality will occur tomorrow. It’s partly cloudy, and it will be tomorrow as well. If this is as good as it gets, I am completely okay with that.
I removed all of the solar lights and covered the ones that were too much to remove.
I turned off the my “dusk to dawn” lights.
I have black and yellow tablecloths on the tables in the building.
I set out board games, card games and the drink station.
I’ve been fulfilling and preparing the bookings of my guests by preparing the lanyards with their info and “ticket”.
I have confirmed with the health department that although I am not offering camping, my guests can stay on my property, in my building or their vehicles, until they feel comfortable with the traffic flo to head home.
I don’t have any bands or a DJ. I don’t have a craft show. But I have the sky.

Your $60 fee gives you a prime viewing spot at the Kove (use our chairs or bring your own).
You get a super cool pair of Solar Eclipse Glasses, CE and ISO Certified.
You can have all of the bottled water, lemonade and coffee that you need to keep you hydrated and pumped up for the "main event".
You get 1 meal from the food truck that includes fries, a soda and either a Gyro or one of their fancy burgers. If you go back for more (and you will want to), they will be accepting cash only (because none of us know if we will have any internet or phone service or electric). Even if these system crash, no worries here. They have 2 backup generators to keep the mobile restaurant running.
We are limiting our invites to 175 people. Cost is per person.
