On this date February 26, 1966 the single "These Boots Are Made For Walkin'" by Nancy Sinatra hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. It was written and produced by Lee Hazlewood. The record also hit #1 in the UK. The single was released December 16, 1965 on Reprise Records, and was from her album "Boots"
It was recorded November 19, 1965 at United Western Studios in Hollywood.
