We received an interesting call from a customer yesterday, with a heartwarming story we would love to share.
Every year on this person (who wishes to remain anonymous) Mother's birthday they have a tradition of nominating a few lucky Facebook followers to receive a bouquet of flowers to be sent to THEIR mother to show them how much great moms are appreciated! We got to talking and soon found out they had nominated some followers from all over the world, including Mexico, Japan, and right here in Mansfield! So we whipped up an arrangement and sent them to a mother here in Mansfield :) with a letter that read

"Happy Birthday to my Mom Anita.
You are receiving flowers today because your incredible daughter, nominated you as an amazing Mom to receive flowers.
My amazing Mom peacefully died 11 years ago, but I keep up the tradition of sending flowers on my Mom’s birthday to other amazing Moms.
I hope your day goes well, sending you warm hugs, and thanks for being an amazing Mom."

With Mother's Day approaching, we agree that sharing your love and appreciation for your mother can be something that transcends life itself!

Help spread awareness for child abuse prevention month this April by hanging blue bows or ribbons. The blue ribbon is recognized as the international symbol for child abuse prevention and serves as a reminder that we all have a responsibility in helping to protect children ! To help downtown mansfield by “going blue” this April, bows and ribbons will be available for purchase at Tara’s Floral Expressions.
