It's a Happy 5 Years to Ivy Rose today!

February 3, 2020, my family and I opened the doors to Ivy Rose Florist in a small location across the way from our current building. I left a stable nursing career of 8 years on a dream and a prayer! Truly following God's call with no idea what I was stepping into. With lots of support from family, friends, and community, Ivy Rose has been blessed to build a larger location and serve Mantachie and surrounding communities for 5 years now.

Ivy Rose is named after my maternal great-grandmothers- Alice Rose Elliff and Thelma Ivy Stedham. We built Ivy Rose on the platform of family, and it has continued to be just that. We love our customers just like family, and your continued support is what supports my family!

Owning and operating a small business is not easy. It's definitely a labor of love. There are no scheduled hours. There are truly no days off. There are days we think we aren't are going to make it. Ivy Rose has faced the COVID pandemic and a struggling national economy both in just our 5 years in business. Thanks to continued support from loyal customers and many blessings from above, we are still here and grateful to serve!

I look forward to many more years of Ivy Rose in this town that I love so much! Once again, thank you all for the support you have given me and my family in the past 5 years. It is truly a blessing to serve and be a part of this community!

How cute is this for 🐾Bulldog🐾 Fan?

I’m not the best at taking pictures or videos of my work, but I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to document this one… I have a sweet customer who always trusts me to do something “out of the box”, and even though sometimes I am nervous I can’t pull it off, I always love how it turns out. This is in remembrance of Sadie Downs. Although, I never personally met her I can see the great impact she left on her community. Our prayers are with her family and her community in their time of great loss.
