Hello!!
Just a quick update: I’ve been soaking up all the baby love and I am still out on maternity leave. I am slowly working on event estimates and answering emails the best I can.
I plan to be back in the studio in January.
I will try my best to keep everyone up to date.

Happy Halloween 👻 🎃
Excited to see all of the Trick-Or-Treaters tonight at the Mapleton Halloween Parade @ 4:30pm 🍬🍫

Line up starts at the park by the library from 4:15-4:30, at 4:30 you will walk down the sidewalks to Mapleton’s custom embroidery, cross the street to Faith bible church and up the sidewalks to Mapleton family dental!

All participating businesses will be out on the sidewalk or have a bucket out. Once you reach the end you are free to leave for town trick-or-treating!! 🧙‍♀️

Mark your calendars for the 2024 Snowflake Dazzle on December 4th from 4-7pm. This will be the last year that the Chamber hosts the Snowflake Dazzle (we are hoping for another group to step up) and we want to do our best to make it memorable!

With that being said, we are looking for your help to make this year's Snowflake Dazzle successful! Last year, we were blown away by all of the businesses that were open, sent donation items for baskets, and more! Below are some ways you could help:

1. Have your business open during the event! We strongly encourage businesses to be open, ESPECIALLY if your business is on Main Street. We encourage businesses to have door prizes, activities, or giveaways to gain traction.

-Another option for non-Main Street businesses would be to monitor a fire pit or volunteer at the Library or Santa photos. For safety, we are in need of groups to monitor each fire pit. If your business would like to provide 2-3 people, you are welcome to do so as well.

2. Donations for 250 Santa bags! These bags are given to each child that comes to get their photo taken with Santa. Last year we had MANY donations and it was so fun to fill the bags! Don't want to put anything specific in the bags, but still want to donate? You can also send a monetary donation and we will purchase items for the bags.

3. Donate to our Adult Door Prizes. We would like to have specific door prizes at each open business for people to sign up. More prizes means more people can win! Again, you can also make a monetary donation if you prefer not to donate a specific item. *Drop off location to be determined*

4. Participate in the Light Up Parade: Lastly, we strongly encourage your business to get creative and have a light up float in the parade, a popular event. There will be cash prizes for the best decorated floats! Third place = $100, Second place = $125, and First place = $150 AND bragging rights!

The Deadline to sign up for any of these items is November 1st, so we can finalize and print our posters,list donors, and continue advertising. We cannot guarantee businesses will be included in any advertising after November 1st. If you need more time, please let me know.

Join the Mapleton Area Foundation for a spooktacular Halloween “Parade”
October 31st on Main Street Mapleton MN.

The foundation asks that children of all ages, families, parents with littles line up at the Bonspiel Park (park by the Mapleton Library) dressed in costumes if you choose.
At 4:30pm you walk the sidewalk down to Mapleton Custom Embroidery, cross the street to Northwest Gas and up the sidewalk to the Dental Office. Stopping at each participating business that is on the sidewalk handing out candy/ item of their choice.
Once you have reached the end you are free to head out trick-or-treating! 🎃🍬

We hope to see you on the 31st
