Today ....

Sometimes we spend some much time focus on achievements and goals, checking of items on our To Do list that we forget we are only humans and that we need physical and mental breaks.

Not until our body reminds us that it needs to rest. My MIA is not intentional, my body is simply unable to function, therefore I am unable to function.

I am thankful for another day, and pray that my body recovers. But until I am able to fully function I have no choice but to be missed from time to time.

When we explain this to our brides, it always comes as such a shock. I think we’ve got used to living in an Amazon world where you can get something instantly. Wedding dresses are not the same. They are carefully constructed, take time to cut, apply each beautiful layer of lace, tulle and add the delicate (often hand-sewn) beading. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Due to these troubled times (Covid, shipping delays, staff shortages etc..), we’ve seen an increase in the length of time dresses are taking to be made.

Don’t put dress shopping off as you may find your choices are more limited the closer to your wedding you get. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
While we can always sell a gown off the rack, or you can choose from a selection of gowns with a short shipping and we have designers do hold a small stock, you’ll have the most choice if you start your wedding dress shopping at least 10-months before your big day 🤍⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

And if you see something you love, don’t hesitate because the delivery dates we give you at that time are only valid then. If you leave it a few weeks/months they may be even longer!

First thing first, call, text or visit our website to book your appointment. We love technology but also believe in a good old fashioned conversation, and we'll call to get to know you.

We offer a personal appointment: The appointment is an hour + 30 minutes, and we advise bringing up to 6-guest, we serve wine, champagne + snacks.

Shopping experience: Stylist reviews your Pinterest board or pictures of dresses you like. Or you can just browse our sample dress. She then pulls samples of dresses in similar styles and silhouettes for your fitting. She captures the details and feedback, and the design process begins. Yes, you get to custom design your dress from the features you love from the different dresses. She takes measures, and your dress is ready for your first fitting in 2 months, and delivery within 4 months.

Best of all no alterations are necessary, and the bustle is included. We know this is the most exciting time for you, and we are delighted to be a part of the magic.
