🍾🎉We're celebrating our 5 year anniversary!
TADA Meats opened our locker to custom processing in 2019 in the machine shed on our farm. We had the intent to process our own beef and those of our neighbors, friends and family. The spring of 2020 with Covid shutting down nearly everything and creating food insecurities, our locker grew and we were able to offer employment opportunties, increasing the number of livestock we were able to process.
The next step in our journey included retail exempt license allowing us to sell our beef to customers in smaller increments than just 1/4, 1/2 or whole beef (which we also offer😊). We realized that our location offers great proximity to our farm, but not a great retail location which motivated us to purchase our retail store in Maquoketa.
Next came our idea to serve burgers using our farm fresh beef. We made this a reality in May of this year and currently offer burgers and another lunch special daily. Fresh cuts of our farm fresh beef and pork and lamb purchased from local farmers fill our fresh cases and we offer a huge selection of delicious meats and grocery items. (Including elk, bison, pheasant, duck, seafood and more!)
This all wouldn't have been possible without the hard work and dedication of our employees and the constant support of our amazing customers. We're so greatful for you all!
