It’s that time of year again!!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩

We will be preparing our season with a parent informatuon meeting on May 20th at 11am at Keys Strength. This meeting will be held to help answer all questions you may have and to register your child for the 2023-2024 season.

Evaluations (mandatory) will be held the following week!

Ages 4-8 will have their first day of evaluations on Wednesday the 24 from 6:30-7:30.

Ages 9+ will have their first day of evaluations on Friday the 26 from 6:30-8.

All ages will have their second evaluation on Saturday (times will be assigned during first evaluations).

STATE CHAMPS!!

Division 8u Level 1

AND

Division 13u Level 2

The division 8u level one team (Twinkle Stars) competed four times this year with some fierce competition! Each competition they came out FIRST in their division making them undefeated this season! There are 8 members of this team, ages ranging from 4-7 years old. None of them have ever cheered before, and it has been such an amazing experience coaching them. They have surpassed all of my expectations and I am SO PROUD of every single member of that team. They worked hard, showed up to practice (two days for cheer and one for tumbling), remained dedicated and worked together as a team. It has been such a pleasure watching them grow not only in their skills but also into the little ladies they are today. It is very sad knowing I’ll never coach that routine again, but I can’t wait to see what they do next year.

The division 13 (we’ll get to that later) level 2 team (Shooting Stars) have also competed four times, won GRAND CHAMPS and we have nationals in Orlando coming up! There are 16 girls ages ranging from 7-10. They have won first place in division 10 level 2 three times and State champs in division 13 level 2. Why did we compete in division 13 and younger? So we have MORE competition! To know that my 10 and younger island girls competed in a higher division and WON just shows you how special these girls are. Not to mention, they haven’t even competed the same routine ONCE this year. With injuries and COVID we had to change the routine every single competition. Each time, they showed up and showed out! I am so proud of their adaptability, hard work, dedication and perseverance- as a coach, I couldn’t ask for more (well maybe that they talk less and listen more 🤣🤪). I can not wait to see them take the mat in Orlando. Win or lose- I’m so proud of them for receiving a bid to make it to Orlando! LET’S GO GIRLS!

Want to be a STAR? Our competitive cheer teams are looking for YOU!!! We offer teams for ages 4-11 years old. Whether you’re a first timer wanting to begin your competitive cheer journey or a returning member, we want you to join one of our teams!!!! 🤩🤩🤩

August 18th (Wednesday) at 6:30-7:30pm

August 21st (Saturday) at 10:30am

***Located at Keys Strength & Conditioning

Teams will be announced that Saturday night.

Please, arrive on time in proper attire (workout clothes, athletic shoes), hair out of face (pony tail etc) and all the smiles and sass! Both days are required to attend. You will need to register your child Wednesday in order to be evaluated on Saturday!

Ages 4-11 girls and boys are welcome to come and be a part of the action!
