1. Responsible for opening and/or closing the Mansour Conference Center, based on scheduled arrivals or departures of caterers, vendors or guests.
2. Shares the role of primary contact person during Mansour Conference Center events, responding to guest needs which include lighting or temperature adjustments, beverage services, audio visual services and other issues which arise.
3. Monitors upcoming events to ensure catering kitchen supplies are adequate. Purchases catering supplies as needed. Ensures room set ups are appropriate and beverage service and snacks are prepared and available when requested.
4. Schedules catering services, by working with caterers and guests, ensuring event dates and times are accurate, menus are agreeable to guests and invoicing is accurate and complete.
5. Sets up beverage and full conference service, ensuring break areas maintain a clean and neat appearance and appropriate food and beverages are served at designated times.
6. Sets up and connects audio visual equipment as requested by guests.
7. Greets and directs Mansour Conference Center visitors, including resident agencies and CFR clients, volunteers, and conference center clients. Provides outstanding customer service and demonstrates diplomacy when interacting with guests and resident agencies.
8. Acts as primary contact for telephone inquiries regarding meeting room availability and rates. Responds or refers inquiries as appropriate.
9. May monitor and update client contact information, meeting reservation changes, and invoicing.
10. Monitors cleanliness of meeting rooms, public restrooms, public hallways, and maintenance needs of the Mansour Conference Center. Addresses urgent issues immediately by cleaning or repairing if possible, or reports to Facility Manager to ensure proper action is taken and reports bigger, ongoing custodial and maintenance issues to the Facility Manager.
11. Washes and puts away serving dishes after and during events, and washes and maintains adequate supply of table linens.
