OUR HISTORY:
The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic fraternal benefit society, open to men 18 years or older. McGivney, the KofC cares for the financial needs of its members and their families through its insurance program. John of Beverly Council was founded in 1967. Initially meetings wand events were held in Beverly, OH before building our current facility in Churchtown, OH in
1975. Today, our members consist of gentlemen who attend St. Bernard Church in Beverly, OH, St. John the Baptist Church in Churchtown, OH, and Our Lady of Mercy Church in Lowell, OH. Currently, we have around 300 members in our council that are actively involved in their communities. OUR FACILITY:
Situated in the beautiful rural setting of Churchtown, Ohio (13 minutes from downtown Marietta) the 4617 Home Corporation venue offers the host space to make their wedding, reception, anniversary, graduation, birthday, or special event the social gathering of the year! With space to comfortably seat 450 guests the possibilities are endless. The venue includes many great amenities, some included:
• 5,000 ft2 (50’ x 100’) open hall with 18’ ceilings
• Great outdoor wedding areas, including our NEW PATIO
• Full kitchen with industrial stoves, dishwasher, refrigerator, and ice maker (free to use with rental)
• Tables and folding chairs
• Outdoor porch and concrete patio with scenic views
• Walk in cooler
• Roasters and food warmers
• Fully air conditioned and heated
• Handicap accessible
• Horse-shoe pits, baseball field, basketball court, and playground
In addition to the great amenities, we allow the event host to:
• Bring their own caterer and outside food
• Bring their own alcohol (saving money)
• Choose their preferred vendors
• Have full unlimited weekend access
OUR DONATIONS:
We strive to support the surrounding communities and parishes. Charity is at the heart of our organization. Over the past 3 years, we have given over $30,000 to local organizations and fundraisers. We do this by hosting many fundraisers annually. Below are just some of the places our money has been used:

Drawing Setup - Tonight:
Setup for the Winter Cash drawing will be TONIGHT, Wednesday, February 5th at 6:00 pm. All members are encouraged to help.
KofC Winter Cash Drawing - Saturday:
There are still a few tickets left for the drawing this Saturday, February 8th. Tickets are sold in advance , cost is $50/each. Doors open at 5:00 pm. Contact Dean Brooker at 740-629-4884 if you or anyone you know needs tickets.
Clean Up - Sunday:
Drawing clean up will be on Sunday, February 9th at 8:30 am. All members are encouraged to help.
Floor Buff and Wax - Monday:
The floors in the gym will be buffed and waxed next week. Work will begin Monday, February 10th at 6:00 pm. All members' help would be greatly appreciated!
Home Corp. Meeting - Thurs. February 13th:
The next 46167 Home Corporation meeting will be held on Thursday, February 13th at 7:30 pm. All KofC members are also Home Corporation members and all are encouraged to attend.
