Our Story

The Mariner Theater was built in 1927, it was converted from it’s original use as a movie palace and vaudeville theater in the 1970s. We have repurposed the Mariner once again.The newest reincarnation of the Mariner includes incredible gallery spaces to showcase their museum quality models along with the finest in unique items from around the world. In addition the Mariner is now showing classic movies, documentaries and independent films in their boutique theater that holds 48. The galleries including our Titanic exhibit are open on Saturday from 12 -3 or by appointment, for visitors and clients from around the globe. In addition, the Mariner can host corporate receptions, groups, and tours for non-profit events featuring the rarest and most valuable model of any kind in the world the Titanic! Mariner’s former stage area has been restored to house this famous “builder’s model” of Titanic. The model took seven years to be completed by the highly skilled artisans. It’s construction took place in a secret location in Riga, Latvia. Since it’s completion, it has toured world wide and has raised millions of dollars for charities. This model was introduced by National Geographic at Explorers Hall in Washington D.C. in 2002 and returned in 2012 for the 100 year anniversary of the launching of the ship. This eighteen foot ”official builder’s model “ of Titanic was created in cooperation with Harland & Wolff, builders of the original Titanic.
