If you didn’t see last week’s post, go check it out! This photo was taken today (1/20) and shows the growth of the artesian spring fed ice and water sculpture right by the library in downtown Marion. As cold as it is so far this week, we might be on our way to full on glacier soon enough. 🥶
Warm up with a Three Birds Coffee and Tea hot chocolate, tea, or espresso based beverage located just a short walk west of the ice sculpture. Open this week Friday (1/24) from 6:30am-2pm and Saturday (1/25) from 8am-2pm!

!Schedule update!
You know sometimes when you want to jump over something big? You tend to take a few steps back to get a running start?
Due to some recent changes, I’m going to take a few steps back and make some adjustments to my January schedule!

I will NOT be open on Weds and Thursdays in January as previously proposed! 😭

You WILL still be able to grab your favorite latte, however, on Friday (1/10) from 6:30am-2pm and Saturday (1/11) from 8pm-2pm! Thanks for your understanding and continued support! My sincerest apologies to all the ‘regulars’ who have been stopping by during weekday hours recently! Keep checking back for schedule updates as we move through the winter months as we plan to land in March with consistent weekday hours for our Marion friends!

The chair is empty now… but yesterday it was warmed by one of the Three Birds Coffee and Tea ‘regulars’. I was pulling a shot of espresso and casually listening to the conversation as it bounced around the room. Words exchanged about nothing and everything at the same time. From politics to parenting to religion… From cars to schools to travel… Some serious and some just downright silly.
I wasn’t even in the conversation but all at once it felt like one of those Norman Rockwell paintings. On the surface it looked like every other normal day but somehow there was a depth you can’t really explain… but it was surely felt.
Thank you for that moment.

May your cup be half full today and shared with others.

Time for the Olde Mill Venue Jingle Mingle! While we will be set up at 109 W Main in Marion this morning (Friday 12/6) we will CLOSE at NOON to roll on down around the corner to the Olde Mill Venue and be set up there with a slew of wonderful crafters from 4pm to 8pm! Saturday will be from 10am to 3pm!

Many cups and many blessings for your table this morning!
Remember we will be closed this morning (Friday 11/29) and tomorrow (Saturday 11/30) for time with our family. Next week starts our three week trial period of being open Monday through Saturday! Hopefully at least one weekday works for your schedule to come share a cup!

So the good news/bad news….
While we will be CLOSED both Friday and Saturday (11/29 & 30) this weekend…

Starting next Monday (12/2) we will be OPEN EVERY DAY, Monday through Saturday until Christmas!
Why the change you ask? Well, honestly, I’m just a little indecisive. I wanted to add a few more days of service but I couldn’t pick which days of the week would be best! So this is your chance to VOTE! (Don’t worry… no political ads here.😁)
Vote simply by stopping in at 109 W Main St in Marion and make a purchase on the day and time you would like me to add to our future schedule as we go into 2025! I’ll be doing my best scientist impression and will collect the data! Feel free to add feedback here in the comments section as well! M-F hours will be 6:30am-2 pm and Saturday will remain from 8am-2pm!
