So, let's talk about it, what flower do you NOT like?

The other day I posted an arrangement with sunflowers and a friend joked that I should have captioned it "I love sunflowers. 🌻 They are my favorite!”

Why? Because sunflowers are absolutely NOT my favorite.

I recognize that they are beautiful and for most people they represent sunshine and happiness, they just are not my cup of tea.
Over the years, I've gone through phases where I just don't care for particular flowers, gerbera daisies were previously on this list but I've come back around to liking them. I also don't like the smell of oriental lilies. Many people say carnations smell like funerals, but to me, a stargazer it what smells like a funeral.

I do believe all flowers are beautiful in their own way and the fact that we all like different things is part of what makes life interesting.

So tell me, what flower do you NOT like?

There are so many times that someone says "I just want something simple". This bouquet was truly simple; just fresh, fluffy hydrangeas that are timeless and elegant.

Paper is the traditional gift for a first wedding anniversary, so when I got a request for paper roses, I decided to complete the whole arrangement with paper leaves and a paper vase! Honestly, the real gift was the handwritten letter that accompanied these flowers but the paper bouquet was a sweet addition.
