ATTENTION: Due to the heat advisory for Tuesday’s meet we are limiting event entries to 3 TOTAL per athlete. That means a relay entry counts as 1 of the 3 selected. If you have not registered your athlete, please only select up to 3 total and include the relay as one of those 3 event options. This limits excessive activity and shortens meet entries for each event!

If you already registered and had selected 4 events, stop by the table and let us know which event to scratch your athlete from.

Season T-Shirt Link is back open and will stay active until Thursday the 27th! Once items come in we will call or send a text for pick up location as they will be ready in July after the conclusion of season.

We had 145 kids participating in the Mini Meet tonight! Close to 175 register this season! 😃 Thank you families for your patience. In honor of our club founder Glen Gibbons, who retired this year after coaching for Marion High School Track and Field teams since 1978, we are selling shirts to raise funds to create a Glen Gibbons Swamp Fox Track Scholarship! Money from the shirt sales will go directly to our scholarship. Please message if you would like to make a direct donation as well! Glen had made a true impact on So IL Track and Field! More will be shared on Coach Gibbons rich coaching history! Orders placed by Friday will be printed and ready by end of next week! Share and spread the word!!

Meet Schedule for tomorrow:
It’s going to be a hot one! Sun block and hydration! You are welcome to bring lawn chairs and set up inside of track too. Small shade tents welcome. See previous post for online registration to get kids entered in events. Link closes at noon tomorrow. We will have pizza, drinks and candy at our concessions too!

Registration for Thursdays Mini Meet: Please use the link to register each child for their events for the mini meet! This link will close by noon on Thursday! So make sure you have entries in by that time! Additional meet information will be shared soon! In addition, active QR Code is shared in comments to also bring you right to meet form for anyone off of Facebook. After reviewing 5 different weather apps we are giving practice this morning the green light! See you all today at 9:00. Let’s hope the rain stays away! Maybe pack an umbrella just in case of light drizzle.

With potential rain in forecast tomorrow, we will make call about practice by 8:15am. We will post on page, so please check the page before heading to practice tomorrow! Southern Illinois weather is so unpredictable so we like to wait to the closet point to make a decision.
