Magpie Market Days has been moved to next weekend!!!!

‼️IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ‼️please read & SHARE!

We have had to reschedule our event for this weekend and move it to next weekend, October 4-6 out of an abundance of caution for shoppers and vendors with the incoming weather.

We will still have 100 INCREDIBLE VENDORS and food trucks ready for you!

We will still be at the fairgrounds in Marion! No changes other than our date is one weekend later!

We have a winner!!! Congratulations to Whitney Stringer from Marion! She brought us the winning ticket and collected her half of the 50/50 pot! Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets!!!

Well it is not really a surprise to anyone that our first place 50/50 raffle winner chose to take the beautiful living room sofa set valued at over $3000 graciously donated by Matt's Furniture in Downtown Herrin and The Roofing Guys!

So now that has been claimed, we have drawn our second place ticket and the winner will take home half of the 50/50 money pot! Everyone check your tickets and if you have the number below you have 24 hours to claim your prize or another ticket will be drawn! Good luck!!

Today’s schedule of events! It’s the Last day of the fair and if you haven’t been here yet, well you sure don’t wanna miss today!

Car show 8am-2pm, at the front of the fairgrounds. Dash plaques to the first 50 registered! Registration from 8-11am. Judging starts at noon and awards around 1:30pm! $10 entry fee to show your vehicle and FREE for spectators! The Flippin' Crêpe will be open and serving up breakfast food to purchase also!

Carnival and food vendors open at noon! Come get your belly full of carnival food, Taffy, cotton candy, funnel cakes and everything your heart and belly desires! Then walk some of those calories off shopping and browsing through all of the wonderful craft and goods vendors! Then stop and take a ride on “Bodie The Bodacious Bull” and see if you can tame him!

Johnathan Len and the Kentucky Sound will take the FREE midway music entertainment stage from 6p-8p! If you’ve never seen them perform before well you better get here tonight because he puts on an amazing high energy show! Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy this beautiful weather!

In the grandstands at 7pm get ready to witness the greatest spectacle in all of motorsports… THE DEMOLITION DERBY by Swartz’s promotions! There will be crashing, bashing and a whole lot of fun for the entire family! You do NOT wanna miss this!
The event ticket office will open around 1pm (located behind the grandstands) and if you would like to avoid the long lines right before the derby we highly encourage you to come purchase your tickets early!
General admission-$12. Box seats-$15. Pit pass-$20

Creal Springs VFW will be down in the entertainment Beer barn (just down the midway past the rides in the big brick barn) serving up ice cold beer and drinks. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy FREE live music from Old School band from 6-11pm! They are also selling raffle tickets to win a John Deere tractor down there as well. Go see them!

And all day long starting at the car show we will be selling 50/50 raffle tickets for your chance to win a state of the art reclining living room set with built in Bluetooth speakers, usb charging ports and led under glow lighting valued at over $3,000 dollars courtesy of Matt's Furniture in downtown Herrin and The Roofing Guys right here in Marion or half of the 50/50 pot. First ticket drawn will get to choose what they want and second ticket will get the remaining prize! Tickets are only $20 for an arm length or $2 a ticket. Drawing will take place around 9pm during the demolition derby and you do not need to be present to win!

The weather looks amazing and there is no better place or way for you to enjoy it than spending time and making precious memories with your family right here at your county fair!

Come see us tomorrow at the car show between 8am-2pm to purchase a 50/50 tickets to win this amazing living room set or half the pot. Two tickets will be drawn and the first winner will get a choice of the furniture or half the pot of 50/50. And second will get what the first didn’t pick. Tickets will be sold all evening at the fair also and winner will be drawn at 9pm during the demolition derby and the winner does not have to be present to win!

Don’t forget to visit our Entertainment Beer Barn (located right down the midway past the carnival rides, the big brick barn) where the Creal Springs VFW is serving up ice cold beer and drinks and they have LIVE music every evening of the fair from 6-11 pm!

Oh yeah…and did we mention they are giving a tractor away! Well they are and you can purchase your raffle tickets from them there as well!

Join them tonight for a cold one and listen to live music by Heath Holloman and then for the rest of the week for the entertainment below!
