Our story...
It all started in 1980 when we purchased the Four Seasons floral shop. It was already established as a floral and bridal registry when it was purchased. Quickly we established a Waterford account and became Marions very first Authorized Waterford Dealer. From there we kept expanding the business by joining Ideation. This huge buying group gathered business owners from all over the nation at wonderful high end resorts to meet and discuss product and how there business’ got started. We had Christmas catalog and a gourmet catalog where we first starting selling “potpourri”. The first fragrance company was “Seasons” and Peachy Peach was the one of the first fragrances. Who knew wood chips with fragrance would be a big hit! From there dedication, longevity and a love to serve the public and our customers needs is what keeps us going. Our customers are our family!!
Now more than ever a retailers best asset is customer service! Here at Etcetera our one book for all to read would be “Minding the Store” by Stanley Marcus. A must read for all small retailers. Still this day we are providing gift wrapping, delivery, and shipping for items purchased in house or by phone.
