When I arrived at their welcome party, I knew this was going to be an event to remember—the theme? Ugly Christmas Sweater 🌲It set the tone for a weekend filled with laughter and holiday cheer!
Rachel and Jeremy’s wedding day was the perfect embrace of the Christmas season. With rich red and cream florals, pinecone place card holders, and Christmas trees of various heights serving as the ceremony altar, it felt like stepping into a winter wonderland. Truly a weekend to remember for everyone.

I do love a good winter wedding! Chelsea and CJ were my first official winter wedding this season and my first time back at The Biltmore Estate since Hurricane Helene.
Chelsea’s bridesmaids selected dresses in varying shades of green, while CJ’s groomsmen followed suit, creating a stunning mix of winter greens that beautifully complemented the season. Oh, and cowboy hats seemed to make an appearance throughout the day – the story behind them remains a bit of a mystery on my end, but they sure added a unique flair!
The celebration continued at the Lioncrest, where this lively crew danced the night away in true holiday style.
Sending many congratulations to Chelsea and CJ as they embark on their next adventure – a honeymoon in Thailand!

What a perfect fall day celebrating Lake and Kyle.
These two tied the knot in the backyard of a family friend with a beautiful ceremony overlooking Lake Norman—where Kyle grew up. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, their wedding was all about connection, laughter, and simply having a great time together.

One of my favorite moments was their first look, which we staged on the dock. With the lake as their backdrop, it was a picture-perfect and emotional moment I hope they never forget.

Sometimes, the most beautiful wedding stories come with unexpected twists. Julianne and Paxton had planned their big day at the Biltmore Estate, but with Hurricane Helene shifting their plans, they decided to bring their celebration back home to Hickory, NC. With only a few weeks to completely reimagine their day, they created something special for everyone.
Their ceremony took place at Corinth Reformed Church - and made for a perfect backdrop for photos. The reception at Moretz Mills was decorated in rich shades of plum and lavender and once the candles were lit - the place felt warm and romantic. This was truly a night to remember.

These past few weeks have been a whirlwind, but nothing could stop Rachel and Spencer from saying “I do!” They originally planned their dream wedding in Asheville, but thanks to Hurricane Helene, they had to make a last-minute change to the stunning Carolina Getaway Cabins in Mount Airy, NC. Everything about the day turned out beautiful! From a super emotional first touch between the couple to a horse drawn carriage - the day was full of moments to remember.
Rachel was an amazingly calm bride, taking it all in stride and ready to marry her high school sweetheart, Spencer. I was so happy to capture their love in the middle of all this chaos, and despite my own challenges with power and internet, I was determined to be there for them. 😊

A week before hurricane Helene, I had the honor of photographing Liz and Zak’s intimate wedding at Cedric’s Garden on the Biltmore Estate. It was a perfect celebration with close friends and family, and I had planned on posting these images the Friday that the storm hit WNC.

Plans changed and here we are 2 weeks later. However, that doesn’t take away from this beautiful day though, right? We should still acknowledge the good things and this wedding was exactly that. 💕I had a blast running around the property with these two! Liz and Zak- I wish all the best in your marriage!

Western North Carolina is a special place with strong, spirited people. We will come back from this. Our communities thrive on tourism, and the fall season is when we shine the brightest. I pray that this time next year, life feels a little more like it did before. 💛

Exactly one year out from their big day, Amy and Carl chose their venue, Biltmore Estate for their engagement photos. The light couldn’t have been more perfect as we ended the session in a dreamy sunflower field, with a golden sunset wrapping up the evening. Excited to celebrate their love again next year in the same stunning spot! 🌻✨

Such a joy photographing Mary Beth & Michael’s beautiful wedding at Lioncrest on the Biltmore Estate this past weekend! From the moment we met, we clicked, and their relaxed vibe made the day so special. We had an amazing couples session at the House, with some playful, windy adventures featuring Mary Beth’s (mind of its own) 🤣 cathedral veil. The wind had its fun with us, making for some great candid moments and out-takes! It was the perfect touch to a perfect day! 💕

Having known this family for years, it feels bittersweet to photograph the wedding of their last daughter, Jaie. I’ve had the honor of capturing so many special moments for them, and Jaie and Greg’s day at Little Switzerland was no exception. Their wedding was full of laughter, joy, and love—despite the winds that decided to show up unexpectedly! The blush and cream tones Jaie chose were timeless and elegant, and the stunning Blue Ridge Mountains provided the most breathtaking backdrop. Just wrapped up the most laid-back and love-filled engagement session with Tessa and Skylur at the Asheville Arboretum! 🌿 These two are all about keeping it relaxed and low-key, and it shows in every shot. With Tessa’s stunning red hair and Skylur’s fierce beard, we had some hilarious moments during cuddling and kissing photos—definitely some memories that will last a lifetime!
Can’t wait for their spring wedding at Hidden Hill, where the mountain backdrop is going to make their day absolutely magical. 🏔️
