Finally a day without rain! I had so much fun with Marina and Andrei! They are both originally from Brazil and are planning for a fall wedding at the Biltmore Estate. We decided on focusing on the gardens for our engagement session and really leaned into all the color. These two have amazing chemistry! Also… Marina in yellow? Gorgeous.

Erin’s senior session at the Biltmore Estate was a success despite the call for thunderstorms. This girl is brilliant! She graduated as Valedictorian from McDowell Early College and is headed to Georgetown University this fall! I know her mom is so proud.

Such a great engagement session with Lindsay and Victor! They wanted a mix of downtown Asheville’s urban vibe and a touch of nature—and I was more than happy to make it happen. Lindsay had a vision for some candid, paparazzi-inspired shots too, which brought such a unique and playful energy to the session.

The Watson granddaughters stole my heart last week with their sweet spirits and beautiful smiles. What made it even more meaningful was knowing their grandparents planned this as a surprise gift for their son and daughter-in-law. I had the best time with Ally and Michael! Favorite moment? Hands down when they read their private vows and, without knowing it, basically wrote the same thing — both reminiscing about their first date. So sweet. Also obsessed with the bright, happy colors in this one. Total June vibes! AND we lucked out with the prettiest summer sunset and I may or may not have made Ally twirl ‘til she was dizzy.

Tracy and Howard’s wedding at Cedric’s on the Biltmore Estate was such a joy to photograph! Surrounded by their grown kids, family, and friends - it was the sweetest day. And those blue and green tones with the little table lamps at the reception??? Obsessed!🤩

This engagement session with Emily and David is definitely one I’ll never forget! Not only were they a total blast to hang out with, but we also had the most unexpected celebrity encounter. We literally ran into Gayle King and Adam Glassman while they were filming a segment for the Oprah show at The Biltmore Estate, highlighting Asheville and its recovery from Hurricane Helene. They were so kind and down-to-earth—and yes, we got photos with them (scroll to see!). Such a fun surprise and an extra memorable moment from an already amazing day.

A personal post for my sweet son, Cole. You’ve always had the most tender heart — my artist, my cuddle bug, and my friend. The way you love your brothers, the way you see the world, the kindness you carry…it’s a gift to witness. Dad and I are so proud of the young man you’ve become, and watching you graduate today —- was bittersweet! Congratulations baby boy! We love you.

One of my favorite things about this job is getting to reconnect with families I’ve known for years. I’ve watched these sweet girls grow up since they were babies, and it’s such a beautiful reminder of how quickly those early years fly by.
