Outlanders Offers Delivery
Anne and Nichole here,
Monday morning, the Governor made the decision to close all dine in restaurants and bars that don’t offer take-out services. Following these instructions, we will close our dining room, but remain open for carry-out orders through the end of the week, at which time we will again look at all sides and determine what is best for our staff and community.
As we continue to keep the health and wellbeing of our staff and community at the forefront of our decision making, the following alterations to our normal business operations will go into effect immediately:
• We will no longer accept cash payments until this pandemic has passed. We ask that all orders be paid with credit or debit cards and strongly recommend ordering on-line so that orders can be paid for before pick-up.
Visit our website www.outlanderstogo.com, to place your order.
• We strongly recommend that our customers utilize our curbside pickup.
• As stated last week, we have temporarily extended our delivery services to Marquette City residents. Our delivery Hours are:
Tuesday – Saturday: 12pm – 6pm
• We are temporarily removing our breakfast hours and menu.
• Until further notice, our Hours of Operations are:
Tuesday – Saturday : 11am – 7pm
Sunday – Monday: Closed
To those of you that receive weekly orders from us: we will continue to fill these standard orders for the foreseeable future, even if we close to the general public, as long as our state officials allow carry-out businesses to remain open.
As always, we continue to hold Outlanders to the highest cleaning and sanitation standards. We will continue to frequently sanitize high traffic areas such as door handles, phones, and restrooms. Our employees continue to follow state recommendations for handwashing, wearing gloves, and know to stay home if they or someone they have been in contact with is sick.
We love the Marquette
WORKING TOGETHER TO KEEP MARQUETTE HEALTHY
Hi Everyone, Anne and Nichole here.
As we all know, k-12 schools and the universities are all closed for at least the next couple of weeks. Questions that come to mind: how are we going to do this? What is going to happen next? Do I have everything I need to get through this? What about my job? How am I going to care for my children?
And the list goes on. As a business owner, I’ve asked myself these same questions. Here is what we are doing at Outlanders.
• First know that we continue to do everything we can to keep our staff, our customers, and our community safe. Starting with the basics, we have reviewed proper handwashing procedures with our staff; we will continue to sanitize tables and chairs after each use, as well as sanitizing much more frequently high traffic surfaces such as door handles, hand rails, and restrooms. We have removed the games from the tables in order to sanitize after each use.
• We are asking our staff daily, before their shift, how they are feeling and if they have been around anyone who has been exposed to the corona virus. They understand that if they are feeling ill or have been exposed, they are to stay home.
• Beginning today, in order to calm fears, you can call us when you arrive to have your pick-up order brought out to your car, provided you are paying with a credit card. (our number 906.362.2253 – you can see this number is on the big sign out front)
• Beginning Tuesday, St Patrick’s Day, we will (temporarily) expand our delivery service to include residences in Marquette. With a $30 minimum order, we will deliver your family’s meal to your door for no additional charge.
• Finally, please send a message to us if you know of families or children in need of food during the day for the next couple of weeks. We can arrange for some simple meal pick-ups for you.
It’s by working together that we will all get through this.

TODAY! 4:00PM-7:00PM ALL YOU CAN EAT!
SCRUMPTIOUS PASTA OR MEATLOAF DINNER $12.99
$2.00 of every meal will be will fund the Teaching Familly Homes children's camp this summer.
Last month, at our 1st event, Outlanders and TFH successfully funded a week-long camp (at Presbytery Point) for a single child who currently lives in their residential treatment.
We are now UPPING OUR GOAL:
1. TFH has a target to send 27 children to camp in August of this year.
2. We will attempt to raise funding to send 6 more children on retreat.
3. These retreats are subsidized and only cost approximately $175 per child, so we only have $1,050 more to raise to hit our target!
We offer you this great meal at this great value AND we also fund $2.00 of your meal to the TFH children’s camp. The way we see it, our community wins all around, and that is what we were put on this earth to help achieve. We want to help TFH help at-risk families to become self-sufficient by investing in skills development, self-esteem and interpersonal relationships. TFH also offers residential group homes with specialized care for boys and girls from all over the state, who are emotionally traumatized. So far, TFH has helped hundreds of families and children in the UP and throughout Michigan, and every dollar counts.
Please kindly share this post if you think this cause is worthy, and share your meal with other families that you love.
Thank you so much…Anne
P.S. The amounts needed are small as you see, but these camps can be HUGE game changers in the lives of these children, as they can help them to grow into productive adults who themselves pass forward their positive change to the next generation.Today's the day.
$12.99 ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT PASTA DINNER TO SUPPORT A GOOD CAUSE:)
On this Wednesday, April 17th from 4pm to 8pm, we officially kick off our giving program:
“Marquette Loves Families”
Specifically, Outlanders prepares our wholesome, low-priced meals, offer them to you, and then we fund a portion of those sales to a partnering charity. It’s a community-focused way for your family to eat right AND to partner with Outlanders to build better support structures for Marquette families at the same time.
And, the exciting news is that…
…on Wednesday, April 17th, 2019 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm we will host our first event. We will partner with Teaching Family Homes (more on this great cause below) to offer you an:
“ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT pasta dinner with salad and garlic bread for just $12.99 (dine-in only).”
And, $2.00 of your meal will be donated to Teaching Family Homes, which in turn will use those funds to:
Help at-risk Marquette families to become self-sufficient by investing in skills development, self-esteem and interpersonal relationships. They also offer residential group homes with specialized care for boys and girls who are emotionally traumatized. So far, TFH has helped hundreds of families and children in UP, and every dollar counts.
Outlanders is doing its part by: Designing the program, marketing, preparing wholesome meals that are priced right, and by setting aside the restaurant for TFH’s exclusive use for Wednesday, April 17th, 2019 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
Please kindly share this post if you think this cause is worthy, and share your meal with other families that you love.
Thank you so much…Anne
P.S. If this first event goes well, Outlanders will: a) Expand its partnership with TFA with a number of events per year; and b) Identify other great family-focused charities to test and develop similar relationships to support Marquette families. SO, please help us to make this a great and successful event by enjoying a great meal with your family
