💫 4th Annual Holiday Lasers on the Ore Dock (December 31) – Running through New Years Eve, Holiday Lasers on the Ore Dock allows attendees to experience the holiday spirit in downtown Marquette. In partnership with Fresh Coast Light Lab, this artistic light projection returns for its fourth year and will be projected onto the north side of Marquette’s Lower Harbor Ore Dock from 6 – 8 p.m. With a focus on accessibility, the sensory-friendly laser show ensures that all residents and visitors, including children, veterans and individuals with PTSD and those with sensory disorders can participate in the festivities.

✨ Public Art Installation Oscillation (Through January 5) – The City of Marquette Public Art Commission, with support from the Marquette Downtown Development Authority and Travel Marquette, is bringing Oscillation, a captivating interactive art installation by The Urban Conga, to Marquette Commons through January 5, 2025. Powered by Creos, Oscillation engages audiences through light, sound and movement, allowing participants to create vibrant visual and auditory displays simply by moving around the structure. Inspired by the theremin, an electronic musical instrument controlled without physical contact, this installation transforms public space into an opportunity for community interaction and creativity. The installation is free and open to all, offering a unique experience for visitors and residents during the holiday season.
