Russell is coming to NMU to share his story as a former professional football player in the NFL who made history by becoming the first out active NFL player to identify as bisexual. Russell will give a keynote speech, answer questions in a moderated Q&A, and will sign copies of his powerful memoir, The Yards Between Us, which will be sold at the event. Award-winning Dutch violinist Tim Kliphuis has created a brand new style that embraces classical, gypsy jazz and folk. Hailed as a βcurrent-day improvising Paganiniβ, his inclusive and innovative approach to music has united audiences and is influencing a new generation of string players.
