The overall concept and layout of the book will be kept a secret and only the 100 will kind of know what were doing. My vision is SO CLEAR, I am so freaking excited!!!! I have already begun the preliminary layout and some design work.

I am photographing 100 people from the age of 0 to 100 for a unique coffee table book. I already have more than 50 people committed to the project.
If you are interested send me a message, it will be $90 per age spot, and the fee will go towards the cost of creation and production of the first run. You will receive digital files from the session and a 5x7 print of the one that ends up in the book.
I won’t bill anyone until we have all of the spots accounted for.
I hope to have everyone secured and begin shooting in late April and through May, with the book release being at the end of June!!!! ( I’m thinking a birthday party book launch!!)

A Coffee Table Book by Daniele Carol Co
When I was a teen my parents would drop me off at Barnes and Noble for hours (HOURS!!). I was not too fond of reading, but I loved the photography section with all the coffee table books. It was my haven as a teen. I always dreamed of having a book of my own and if you've been around me recently you know it's been on my mind lately. This idea has been brewing for a long time and won't leave my mind so it's time to make it happen.
When setting out on a journey like this there are the things I know I'll face and then there will be the unforeseen. It's the unforeseen that has me the most scared and most excited.
The Book: I will photograph 100 faces, one every age from 1 to 100 years old.
Attire: You would wear your natural everyday makeup and attire. This choice is up to you, it's meant to be reflective of you today at your age.
The Fee: $90 will go towards the publication and production of the book.
Your reward: a digital file and a 5x7 printed copy of YOUR image for keepsake.
How can you help!? I need faces, sign up, or share with your friends and family. Photographs can be done on location, or here at my studio.

The Owner of the Ore Dock Brewing Company has been named the first female President of the Michigan Brewers Guild.
I knew this was gonna be big! Text me or send me an email when you’re ready to set something up. Teaching photography has been a passion of mine since day one. Since I started at Brooks Institute and I was a third level student and the first level students came in and needed help with their assignments. Watching the lightbulb/aha moments could not be more rewarding.
I have to share how proud I am of this mama! She reached out a few months ago wanting to improve her iphone photos. We worked for a couple hours in her store finding the right light to shoot with, talking about angels and cropping, and so much more.
She was beaming with confidence when I left and hasn’t slowed down since. The consistency in her marketing and images not is perfection.

Where have I been? What am I doing? Great questions!!
I finally feel I can talk about the past two years.
In 2022 I decided to leave my toxic marriage. I knew it would have a profound effect on my life, I could not have prepared for what did happen. For months after I left, I couldn't do my job. The phone would ring, emails would come in, and I would freeze. Anxiety (numbness) would take over and I would avoid all things until it was absolutely necessary. (Edit to add: i’m sorry if you called or messaged or worked with me during this time and you experienced poor service ) I have found this was a normal reaction. I dealt with emotional and mental abuse in my marriage. When it all ended it was like the gate that kept the feelings of home life and work life separate lifted and the two collided.
After seeking help, I can finally say I was suffering from severe imposter syndrome and executive dysfunction. It was awful. But I am finally better.
Building the Business Back! Moving forward.....
I finally got back on track in the middle of 2023. I don't feel the same way anymore and I have learned so much about myself.
I did take a step back from the portrait side of business limiting the babies, families, weddings, and seniors.
Now I primarily do commercial photography, products, headshots, branding work, and website work. I LOVE IT. I will continue to move in this direction and add more coaching, teaching, and workshops shortly. I am a great resource for new photographers, and I need to pass on these skills so our community can continue to get great-quality portraits from local photographers.
You might notice some changes to the building soon. I have 2,500 square feet of space on the 1st floor. I decided to rent out the more "retail" type space. They are slowly getting it set up and I'll fill you in on all that when it's time.
I still have my office and two shooting studios, and I'm still chugging along with work.
I'm still here. I plan to not be so quiet. Thank you for checking in, booking, sharing, and cheering me on all these years. (I also started another job about a year ago, but this post is long enough)

Hey y’all, I’m looking to sell my entire collection of newborn photography props/goods. Hats, bonnets, stretched fabric, outfits, wraps, all included. I have Baby posing tools as well.
I love photographing newborns, and I will continue to teach others how to do it. I just don’t have the time myself anymore.
Happy 4th, and happy heavenly birthday grandma Lucy. She and her sister were roller skating dancers and performed around New York at venues like Madison Square Garden’s, and at events like the Macy’s day parade.. she was a firecracker. I miss her laugh, and playing card games with her. She has a great collection of photos from 1940-1950 including a lot of hand colored black and white photos.

I’m officially 41 which means my business is officially 20 years old! I started the business when I moved to Downstate Michigan out of my parent's house in Rochester Hills. I had just moved across the country from Santa Barbara, California after attending Brooks Institute of Photography. I worked at a small camera store in Pontiac Michigan, and second shot for local photographers until I could go out on my own. I remember telling my parents that I wanted to be a photographer like it was yesterday. My high school photography teacher began taking me out to weddings in LA, and a local brick-and-mortar camera shop allowed me to hang out and design their albums. Now I have a Studio in downtown Marquette just like the first one I ever worked in Upland. Follow your dreams, kids. 🤍🖤
