First constructed in 1907 as Marshall City Hall, and later renamed Memorial City Hall in 1927 as a memorial to the men and women who lost their lives in World War I, the Memorial City Hall Performance Center will open in the Fall of of 2018 as a refurbished and restored downtown icon that will accommodate a variety of performances and other events. Features include a 552 seat auditorium with profe

ssional sound, recording,and video capabilities; an entirely new roof, air conditioning and heat, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinklers, finishes and elevator; dressing rooms, rehearsal rooms, green rooms and theatre storage; 1,400 square feet of meeting space and conference rooms with kitchen access; completely refurbished exterior and windows, covered entry and drop off; and a professional stage with 13 flyway scenes (3 electric) and 8,000-pound lift from basement to stage. It also houses the Harrison County Historical Museum's Service and Sacrifice | Harrison County At War-Steve and Penny Carlisle Exhibit.

Tonight's concert with John Conlee is almost sold out, there are only some single seats remaining. If you are attending, please plan to arrive much earlier than you think you need to park. The square in front of the venue is closed as the City is setting up for the 2024 Wonderland of Lights. Parking is on the west side of the square or the streets around the venue. We'll open the Lobby at 5:30 to accomadate you if you come early!

If you're coming to the Deana Carter concert tonight at MCH, please plan to arrive much earlier than you think you need to find parking. Parking is limited to the street as the City of Marshall is setting up for Wonderland of Lights and the square is closed in front of the venue. We suggest goig to dinner at Rüeggenbach Brewing Co, Pietro's, The Blue Frog or The Ginocchio early before the show!

MCH is presenting Pirate School as part of educational programming. Pirate School is Nov 15, click below for more info and registration form. Sponsored by the Marshall Regional Arts Council. Pirate School: The Science of Pirates pushes the boundaries of science and technology, just like the seafarers of old. Who better to expand children's horizons than a Pirate? Concepts include atmospheric pressure, wind, currents and the aerodynamics of a sailboat (science), simple machines (engineering), navigation (math), and, of course, the flight of a cannonball (technology) all wrapped up in a theater production (art). Combining STEM concepts with the universal dream of a swashbuckling adventure will inspire, encourage and empower.
Grades K-5.

The City of Marshall is busy setting up the skating rink & vintage carousel for the upcoming 2024 Wonderland of Lights, so the square in front of Memorial City Hall is currently blocked off. We are encouraging patrons attending performances at MCH, to arrive downtown earlier than normal to find parking on the streets around the square and have dinner in one of our fine restaurants around the square. We will open the Box Office & Lobby an hour and a half prior to showtime, so we can get people into the venue a little earlier to avoid a crowded lobby.
MCH is located at 110 East Houston St., Marshall TX on the historic town square.
Thank you for your patronage and we'll see you at the show! Tickets are still available if you have some friends that might want to attend with you.
