Thank you to all who are continuing to donate! Every donation is appreciated! We received another large donation from our friends at The Candle Factory today! Thank you Vandy and Brandon Walden for delivering everything directly to the mountains for us!
The people in Marshville and surrounding areas have huge hearts and we are grateful to get to see and talk to everyone bringing in supplies and essential items. Everyone coming together to help our neighbors in Western NC is wonderful.
My son Daniel Fordham Equine Mobile Veterinary Services will be traveling to the mountains on Tuesday to take a load of donations. If you have anything to donate please bring it to the florist and we will box it and make sure it gets to those in need. If you need us to pick up your donations we will be happy to! We are hauling a 20 foot stock trailer from Myers Park United Methodist Church in Charlotte, NC to Montmorenci United Methodist Church in Canton, NC on Tuesday, Oct 8th! The supplies most needed by the Canton community are below. If you’d like to donate supplies for our haul, please drop them off at Robin's Nest Florist in Marshville.

Thank you to everyone who donated today! We had donations from people who we’ve never met before and donations from people who have already donated multiple times.

We are hearing there is a specific need for Benadryl and Benadryl cream. Victims and volunteers are being bitten by fire ants so this would helpful.

There is still a need for all non perishable food items, baby food, baby formula, baby bottles, flashlights, batteries, wash cloths, and much more. If you would like a list of items please call or text me 980-721-4453

We will keep accepting donations Monday- Friday 9:00- 5:00 and certain hours on the weekends.

If you have items to donate and need us to come to pick them up, we will be happy to do that.

We are making sure the items you donate get to the flood victims as quickly as possible. Please continue to pray and donate!

Today was another great day of receiving donations, meeting new people and volunteering.
We made two trips to the
Goose Creek Airport today. Thank you to everyone who donated! We had a load of miscellaneous items and
The Candle Factory sent us with another pallet of hand sanitizer and a pallet of candles with matches. Thank you to each and every single person who has donated. Please continue to pray and donate. The stories we are hearing are unimaginable. We are hearing there is a great need for baby formula and easy to open ready to eat non perishable foods. We will continue to collect items Monday- Friday 9:00-5:00 at

We are making daily trips to Goose Creek Airport. They are making multiple daily trips to deliver the items directly to our neighbors in the mountains.

Update 9-29-24
Today we delivered all the donations we’ve received so far to Goose Creek Airport. We were told 10 planes went out today loaded with supplies to the flood victims in Western NC

We will continue to collect donations and deliver them to the airport.

Thank you all for coming out and showing your support for the flood victims! I’m amazed by how many donations we received in just one afternoon! We will be collecting donations all week and as long as there is a need we will continue to be a drop off location. The items will be taken to the Goose Creek Airport and flown directly to those in need.

Huge thank you to Wingate Fire Department for helping one of our sweet customers on her 80th Birthday! Ms. Dorothy woke up this morning to a tree blocking her driveway. She couldn’t get out and we couldn’t get to her. We called Wingate Fire Department Office and they went out and cut up the tree! We appreciate your service!
