Hello Ladies!!!
Let’s chat…closing my shop was one of the hardest decisions I’ve had to make and I already miss it sooo much! I’m enjoying being at the Richwood Fair this week and I’ve been doing some thinking.
Shortly before closing I was approved as a seller for an amazing clothing wholesaler and I’m going to start accepting pre-orders for pieces. I’ll post them with pricing & shipping arrival times and if you’re interested I’ll invoice you!
I think I will also be posting more children’s clothing! I’ve found a fun new supplier and the pieces have been very popular at the fair this week.
So here’s my question to you…what are you looking for? We do have a couple of great clothing boutiques here in town for my local ladies so I certainly don’t want to overstep but I’ve always had a few ladies’ options available in store and I miss that (for my own closet as well 😊).

Punt Pass Kick Fundraiser! (Please see the end for your athletes time slot)

Here are some details around the event:
- WHERE- Lewis Park (421 Grove St., Marysville, OH 43040)
- WHEN- 8/17/24 from 10 AM-5:15 PM (see below for your teams specific time to attend- if you have a sibling and want to attend one time that's fine too)- slots are 45 mins- 1 hr
- WHY- Why are we holding this event?
- Fundraising is key for this league to be able to upgrade our equipment, keeping league fees down, uniforms, and to offer new things each season.
- Our goal this year is to raise $10,000
- WHAT- What will your child be participating in?
- There will be 3 stations this year and they will be punting the ball (measuring how many yards), passing the ball (throwing the ball and measuring the speed at how fast the child can throw), and speed/agility drill (running through cones and recording the time). For some of the linemen we will also have a 4th station with a single man sled that they can push to see how far they can push.
- Based on the "passing of the ball" drill and the "punting the ball"- the speed of the throw and the length of the punt will be added together and that is what your pledges are calculated against (unless giving a flat rate).

What's new this year with this fundraiser? All pledges that your son/daughter collects can be made electronically through some quick and easy steps (mentioned below).

Buckle in…this might be a long post but it’s one I’ve been putting off. I have made the heart breaking decision to close Wander & Wild as a shop. The last two years of owning a retail business in uptown Marysville have been all the things…exciting, rewarding, frustrating and nerve-wracking at times but I have loved every minute of it. Unfortunately I have had to go back to work full time (three kids in college…ouch) and although I’ve had great help, it’s been a struggle to maintain it all. Our last day open will be July 27th.
With that being said however, we aren’t going away completely. You will see us popping up at local events (see you at the Richwood Fair next month!!). I will also still be doing permanent jewelry and hat bars! Hosting vendor events here in the space on Main Street is also in the plans. The space will soon be called Wander & Wild Parties & Popups as I will be converting the space back into a venue for your small gatherings…think baby showers, grad parties etc.
Owning this little shop has been a dream come true and I’m thankful for the love and support you’ve given.
