Fun fact: Here at Baker Floral, we specialize in one-of-a-kind arrangments in both fresh flowers and silk! When doing silk, we try our best to use ALL the product, even leftover leaves and flowers from bushes! We save all the "scraps" and create some anything-but- ordinary pieces of art. Here is a fun wreath that a valued customer ordered. They let us do "our thing" but just wanted "fall, masculine, with ribbon"...

**BAKER FLORAL IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT-BUSINESS OWNERSHIP OPPORTUNITY**

For those who have been around Mason City for a while, you know that Baker Floral has been a staple in this community since it first opened as Kiefer Floral back in 1959. The business transitioned to Baker Floral in 1978 when Mick Baker purchased it. We purchased it in 2011, and it has been our honor and pleasure to continue the legacy of this outstanding business in the amazing community. We have been proud to be a part of the Mason City community and to provide you with our beautiful flowers for all your special occasion, and just for no reason at all.
As the season changes from summer to fall in Northern Iowa, we have decided that it is time for us to also transition into the season in our life where we slow down, spend more time with family and step away from the business ownership. We are actively looking for an interested buyer who will continue to "Go Beyond Ordinary" and embrace our family of customers, employees, and community as we have.
We would like to see the business remain locally owned and continue to thrive. If you - or someone you know - would be interested in learning more about owning this profitable and active business, please reach out to us and we will put you in touch with our business broker.
We are committed to business as usual while we search for a buyer. All employees, flower orders, vendors and other business operations will remain as they are today.
Although we don't have a specific timeline for when retirement begins, we will let you know when we do. For now, we look forward to continuing to serve our local community with the best flowers and gifts in Northern Iowa, and we would appreciate your continued support to show the next owner just how great our customers truly are!

Well... um... us, sorta 🤔... only because we don't serve out that type of deliciousness at Baker Floral Shop (despite our name 🙃)Even though our cake isn't edible, it's still enjoyable! AND there's NO CALORIES, NO CARBS, AND NO GUILT with our "cake". There's always something to celebrate, so remember that next time you need a reason to have cake and flowers 😉

P.S. add a Milkhouse Candles "Layer Cake" scented candle and I swear you can trick your mind into thinking there really is cake fresh out of the oven!

Baker Floral Shop is looking for a couple friendly faces to join our team! We have a couple openings available:

🚚 Delivery Driver 🚛:

- 2 days a week
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Be prepared for the smiles- being the person that delivers is usually the one that receives all the happy smiles 😊

🌼 Store Clerk 🪴:

- Part-time 20-30 hours a week. We are open 8-5 M-F, and 8-1 on Saturdays. Working hours are same as business hours. We are flexible with scheduling days!

- Customer service experience is preferred, but not required. Show up with a smile and ready to take on the day, and you'll fit right in!

- Qualified candidate will be working with customers to take orders, so positive attitude and attention to detail is a must.

- Person will also be working with blooming and green plants. Plant knowledge is a plus, but we will teach ya what you need! We are kind of awesome like that 😉

- Light cleaning and organizing is part of the daily routine.
