To all my customers- those of you who have been patiently waiting for the open announcement to go up on our roadside sign. Unfortunately, this spring the farm will not be open to customers. I will however be at the Allen Street Farmers’ market this season, Wednesdays from 3-6:30 pm . The market will start its summer season on May 15. Hope to see you there!

Thank you- to all my wonderful customers for making this such a great year. It’s been a tumultuous year so I appreciate the understanding when our hours changed without much notice. Please follow our page or our website this spring for our 2024 plans. Have a fantastic Christmas season and a healthy and happy start to the new year.

Hi Everyone- it’s that time of year again - I hope to see you all out here at the farm next week for the craft show. Our shop is fully stocked with new items and of course some of your favorite “old” items. It is always a fun time for us - so stop by and enjoy a taste of the country. We are number 17 this year.

This holiday weekend we will be open - Saturday and Sunday- from 11 am until 4 pm. The weather will be gorgeous so stop by the farm and get some herb plants or come and browse in our shop.

It’s that time of year again. Time to reopen the Herb farm. This year we are limiting our open hours here at the farm. Instead of our regular open hours we will have pop up weekends. We will announce the open weekends on our page- The Wooden Shoe Herb Farm. Our first open weekend will be Saturday May 6 th and Sunday 7th. We will be open from 11 a.m to 4 p.m. We hope to see you this year here at the farm or at the Allen Street Farmers’ Market on Wednesdays from 2:30 - 7:00 p.m.

It’s that time of year again - time for the Mason Christmas Craft Show. The Wooden Shoe Herb Farm is number 2 on the tour. Our shop is stocked full of great gift items. We are open November 10-12.

Thursday - Friday 9 am - 8 pm
Saturday 9 am - 5 pm

The weather will be gorgeous, the farm is beautiful so I hope to see you all during the show. Brenda

The Wooden Shoe Herb Farm will be closed for the season effective immediately until October. We will be at the Allen Street Farmers market again on July 6. See you then.

We are back for another season here at the Wooden Shoe Herb Farm. We reopen Friday, May 6 from 11-4. Our new season days and hours are the same as last year - Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11-4. We have great herb plants and a shop stocked with unusual items. Hope to see you.

I want to thank all my wonderful customers- the ones that have been with us for a long time and the ones that have just discovered us- for a great year. We are now closed for the winter and will reopen around May 1. I hope you all have a joyous holiday season and a great start to the new year. Stay healthy and we will see you in the spring of 2022.

Come to the second downtown Okemos art fair tomorrow Friday, August 20th from 11-7. Lots of beautiful art work available. We will be in the north parking lot of Art Unlimited. Hope to see you there.

The last lavender distillation of the season. Lots of hydrosol and essential oil has been harvested this year. It was a great crop of lavender. Stop by the East Lansing Farmers’ market on Sundays or the Allen Street market on Wednesdays to pick up some lavender hydrosol or essential oil.

We have some lovely basil - great for pesto- they are 4 for $3.50. The weather is great for growing basil. Stop by the Wooden Shoe Herb Farm on Meridian Road in Mason. We are open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11-4.

I want to thank all my wonderful customers for getting us through this strange turbulent year. It’s been a rough ride this year but you all have been so supportive and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Our holiday open house is this weekend, Friday through Sunday 10-5. We have kissing balls, wreaths, swags and Christmas arrangements for sale along with our Christmas Potpourri and mulling spices.

As you may have surmised the Mason home to home Christmas craft show will not take place this year due to the virus. After 45 years the run has finally been broken. Having said this, the Wooden Shoe Herb Farm will be open on weekends - Friday to Sunday - from 10-5 until December 5. So stop by and see what we have this year.

Now is the time to preorder those advent wreaths. Same price as always - $28- and must be prepaid. Hope to see you this season and if I don’t please stay healthy and safe.

We will be opening this year - 2017- on April 28th. Hours will be the same 10 am to 5 pm.
We will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
This is a change from last year - the farm will be open only three days a week this year.

You will still be able to get our great products at the local farmers' markets.
