I'll never quite understand (or book) any "professional wrestler" that looks like he's never seen the inside of a gym. I don't get it? You want people to believe you can "fight" and "win" and you either weigh 150 lbs of nothing or 450 lbs of garbage? What am I missing?

Wrestling isn't for everyone. In fact, it's not for the majority of people. Not just talking about being an in ring performer I'm talking about being in the business all together.

Unfortunately it brings out the worst in people. I've been around and in this business for going on 13 years. In ring, ring announcer, writer, media personality, commentator - all of it. Now promoter, producer, and owner of a promotion.

It has brought me to the highest of highs but also the lowest of lows. People will step on you. People will lie directly to your face about your spot or performance. People will talk s**t and turn their backs on you for their own personal gain.

It's very rare to have ACTUAL friends in this business because it's full of selfish people. I'm friends with a handful. Guys I know that would go to war with me if they needed to and I'm forever grateful for them.

But also, don't forget when THOSE friends are going through their hardest of times. Their lowest or lows. Be there for them like they'd be there for you. I don't justify any act of anything negative from one person to another but sometimes the issues run much deeper.

Wrestling journalism is the bottom of the barrel. Those dorks would rather post a story with the most inaccurate things just to be first and not be truthful or get all sides to a story. But if any of MY friends in this business go through a tough time, a dark time, a time where they think the world is against them ... I'd talk to them and be there for them before I'd go public with MY feelings about a situation. That's just me. That's just how I'm built and wired and raised.

Support your friends. If they're at rock bottom, help them build a stronger foundation as they get back up. Don't kick them while they're down.

I'm not "hating". I just don't think it takes much talent to do this. Remember talent? lol.

I went to school for sports journalism. I went to a trade school for sports broadcasting.. 19 years of chasing this s**t ..

Insane to think how some of these people are granted the access they're granted.

Don't get it twisted, there are some phenomenal content creators, journalists, podcast hosts. Some of them considered the best in the WORLD..

But some of you don't belong anywhere near a professional setting because you're not a professional.
