Marquis Florals was established in 1987, by Kim Lovitt, a graduate of FIT.
For the past 37 years, our team of exceptional artists, planners, and designers have been serving the NJ and TRI-STATE AREAS.
BUT WE'RE NOT YOUR TYPICAL SHOP...
◾ We don't sell retail or make deliveries
◾ We only do weddings & events
◾ 100% of our time & attention goes to our events
◾ We do so much more than just design flowers
◾ We decorate for all types of celebrations, not just weddings
◾ We're extremely close and have been working as a team for decades
◾ Working together every day isn't enough, we even vacation together, as you can see haha

"ALEXA, how much do tall floral centerpieces cost?"

ANSWER: Price is carefully formulated with multiple factors in mind.

The type of flowers (and greens) used, the amount of flowers and the labor associated with the design are all calculated in that price.

Typically, a tall centerpiece (in NJ/NY in 2024) starts around $300-$350

If you have photos of what you like, but have NO IDEA what your style costs, we can help.

Every consultation concludes with an itemized proposal of what everything you showed us costs, with absolutely no pressure to move forward or minimum spend.

Kim Lovitt, a graduate of FIT, started arranging flowers in a small shop at the age of 24, immersing herself in the art of floral design. Her talent caught the attention of others in the industry, leading to a remarkable opportunity in 1986.

That year, Kim was hired as the Floral and Event Decorator at the prestigious Grand Marquis. Leading a dedicated team, they successfully executed an impressive 350-400 parties each year.

Working at the Grand Marquis provided Kim with invaluable experience which refined her craft. She mastered the art of understanding her clients' vision and how to translate that into awe-inspiring floral designs. Her keen eye for detail, creativity, and ability to create unforgettable experiences sets her apart in the industry still to this day.
