It doesn't seem possible that Rosie is already six months old.🥹 She wasn't really feeling up to having her own paparazzi and was very upset we wouldn't let her eat her shoes, but we still managed to capture some of the sweetest moments.😂❤

Reposting this little spiel in case anyone missed it yesterday! Nev and I are officially in Florida for the Reset Conference! We survived our all nighter! This is my second year going to the conference, and I am SO excited to meet some of my favorite photographers and learn more!🥳

I sent out as many galleries as I possibly could in the short two weeks I've been home from Hawaii, but I was also SO booked and busy that I was practically living at the studio behind the camera, so I am still super behind where I would like to be. I edited until it was time to pack the car. I feel super guilty even going to the conference, and I almost forfeit the money to stay home to edit, but I know investing in myself and my education is still important and I already paid for the hotel and ticket a year ago.😭 Last time I left the house, I was getting "where are my gallery" messages that sent me into a panic attack because I already have anxiety over these galleries. These galleries are consuming me right now. I promise I am trying my best! I've mostly been a one woman editing machine because Jesse started a new job, piercing at Poor Boys Tattoo in Charleston, IL! He will still be shooting weddings though, don't worry!

I will be back to editing when we return on the 8th, and will be FULLY caught up on galleries before March is over. I have sneak peeks scheduled over the next week for those of you waiting! I am SO grateful to my clients for the patience. Ya'll keep me going, and you are so appreciated!❤

🚨OFFICE HOURS🚨

Just wanted to remind everyone again that my office hours are as follows. I have really been trying my best to keep to my boundaries so I can give myself more time to breathe and allow myself ample editing time.

Office hours are Monday and Friday 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. This is the typical timeframe of when I will answer messages! Occasionally I am booked solid on one or both of these days and will need more time to respond. Expect a response within 3 business days. If I do not respond by then, I am so sorry I missed your message! It sometimes happens accidentally in the sea of messages, please reach out again! If it is an absolute emergency, of course you can reach me by phone, and I will respond at my earliest convenience, just please leave a voicemail if I do not answer right away because I may be at a session!

If you see me posting to socials, please remember that all of my posts on socials are scheduled in advance, so even when posting, I am not typically online on my off days. Nev also moderates the bo***ir group and will sometimes respond to comments during this time, so please don't confuse it for me being active!

I am never purposefully ignoring you, I promise! I don't always have enough hands or time, but I will get back to you as soon as I humanly can. Much love!❤

I'm starting to feel like I'm shouting into the void. My engagement is soooo low that it's been hard to even find the motivation to post to socials because it's just crickets. Everyone is prioritizing reels, but there's not enough time in the day to add that to my plate right now.🙃 I'm already scheduling my posts in advance because one dedicated hour once a week is so much easier than trying to juggle spontaneity every day.😂

I've typed this up and deleted it so many times, because truly there aren't enough words, nor the right ones. This isn't the update I wanted to share with you all, but Dustin passed away peacefully this past weekend.

I am devastated, and have been crying off and on. In all my years of doing this, I have never lost a client I worked with so closely. My returning clients often times become like family to me, and this family means so much to me. They've always shown me unconditional love and support. They were some of my first clients when I was just a teenager with a little point and shoot camera and a big dream. 11 years I have spent photographing them. I am just completely brokenhearted for the boys and Jenny. Dustin was such a good man, and he loved his family more than anything. His time on this Earth was cut too short, and he will be so missed.

Thank you to everyone who donated to their GoFundMe through my page, or who sent kind words or thoughts their way. I'm going to drop that link below again, because the unexpected funeral costs will be difficult to manage during this grieving period.

The studio is located at 1413 Wabash Ave, Mattoon. You can find it on maps if you type in Forevermore Photography. Please be aware that I do share a building with Inkcap Tattoo Parlour, so there will also be signage up for their business. It is a large black and white building next to the church on the corner. Do NOT park in the church parking lot beside the building, or in any lot nearby, you will be towed. Please street park on Wabash Ave. in front of the building and come in through the front door facing Wabash Ave. The back door will remain locked during the event.

Please be aware of your appointment time and do NOT be late. I will not be able to accommodate any tardiness or reschedules due to a full schedule! Please do NOT arrive more than 5 minutes early to avoid a crowded lobby.

Upon arrival, you will be given a blank envelope to "Pay What You Can" as an additional tip and put the envelope into a box to keep it anonymous, please bring cash for this.

Throughout 2022 and 2023, Nev was constantly following me around and filming for practice so she could better document wedding days. We kept saying we would make behind the scenes content, or side project videos for fun, but never did. Most of those files are gone at this point because it was a lot to hang onto forever. Social media is hard, and it's wild that being a photographer in these times means you have to be a content creator as well. It isn't an easy job, so kudos to all the Youtubers, Influencers, etc. that do it on a daily basis. Anyway, here's one of those side projects that actually made it through. We had so much fun documenting this birthday party, and getting to celebrate alongside the whole crew.😊
