surprise! my girl miranda over at gave me the green light to host some INDOOR, STUDIO SETUP Valentine's Day minis! i'm so excited because i've never done something like this, but as my kiddos are getting older, i'm finding myself wanting more and more photos of them as they are, right this second 😭

a few things:
💞 limit of 2 children per session. these are only 10 minute sessions, so i can't stretch myself too thin if there are more than 2 kids. if you're looking for more time, i ask for you to book two sessions back to back so we have ample time to get everyone!
💞 the only age limit i'm imposing is that your child must be able to sit up on their own! it'll make all of our lives easier, trust me 😆
💞 i want these to be fun and silly! think of them more as personality portraits (like my girl 's work!!) than being prim and proper.
💞 peek in my stories for some inspiration! will be hooking me up with some fun balloons, which i'm so excited about!

fun fact time: who here knew i used to teach elementary school? i was a third grade & fifth grade teacher, and this cutie lil peach of a gal was not only my student in third, but in fifth, too! it's been so wild watching her + brandon go from senior prom to senior year of college. nothing brings me more joy than watching my kids grow and flourish, let alone document it. also, this is your sign to just book a session, even if you aren't engaged. these two have been dating for 5 years, and they wanted to keep the memory of it! it was such a blast, even if aliza laughed when i fell on the ice. felt like i was back on the playground 🤣🫶🏻

i truly don't have words for how amazing yesterday was. i've been privileged to watch laura + theo's love story from the beginning (albeit from afar), and it's always been such a pure, genuine love. to watch them experience their wedding day together basically made my heart explode. you'll be hard-pressed to find two people more in love 🥲❤️

hi! i'm carly, and i figured now was as good a time as any to reintroduce myself.

carlyvous photography is a safe, inclusive business for people from all walks of life. always has been, always will be 🌈🤚🏻🤚🏼🤚🏽🤚🏾🤚🏿

i've been photographing weddings and babies and families since 2009, when i was a senior in college, dreading the fact that i was going to graduate with a degree in education and not photography. i spent 11 years in a classroom, teaching elementary age kiddos during the day, and hustling to keep my photography business viable at night and on the weekends. i quit in 2021 and haven't looked back.

i love life. i love seeing people fall in love, i love seeing people remember why they fell in love, i love seeing crazy kiddos and all of the sweet faces newborns make. i love to have fun and make my clients feel like they're just hanging out with me, not stressing about having their photo taken. to me, having THIS as my career is such a privilege, and i never take it for granted.

that being said, ask me about my kids, or my husband, or how i like my dirty martinis. i'll be on the dancefloor at your wedding, shmoozing your grandparents and singing mamma mia at the top of my lungs. i'm here for YOU. in any capacity. and i'm excited to see where the journey takes us! ❤️

i'd also be remiss to not mention and her amazing talent. she's my right hand lady and took these gorgina photos of me and i'm just reeeeeal thankful for her 🫶🏻
