As we begin a new year I would like to take a moment to thank our clients. A MILLION THANK YOUS to all of our past and present clients!!! We are so grateful for your patronage and entrusting us with all your special occasions. We put so much of ourselves into every aspect of our businesses (Oh So Chic Photo Booth & John Arriola Films & Fancy Walls by Oh So Chic) and when you choose us it lets us know our hard work is being seen. Saturday was one for the books!! We provided 7 hours of photo booth service. That doesn’t happen too often, but when it does it is always a memorable experience.

We featured our Roamer Booth for the cocktail hour outdoors. We walked about the area capturing those great shots of family and friends. Then we changed gears indoors with our Posh Booth. Guests chose a prop or two, gave their best 3 poses, click went the camera, and at the end of their experience they left with a souvenir. It was such a special night.

We conclude our walk down memory lane with the Dadashi wedding. We gave a TexMex vibe for the rehearsal dinner and the wedding had an entirely different vibe. We provided two booths at the wedding- each in a different room and each with its own vibe.

For the wedding the bride wanted to surprise her groom with a very special room at the venue. Said room had a Godfather theme. There was a screen that played the Godfather movies on a loop, guests could sit on the vintage looking furniture as they enjoyed an espresso, and the pièce de résistance—our booth.

Our booth was a vibe for sure. It was a Godfather immersion experience. We provided some of the most fabulous props for guests to sport. We displayed faux fur stoles, beautiful fascinator hats, very stylish fedoras, opera gloves, canvases with famous Godfather sayings, and so many other spectacular props. It was so entertaining to see guests really get into character and have fun with the props. Their enthusiasm, the luxurious props, and the attitude they brought made for the most striking photos.

The second booth was in a room coined the zen room because of its all white decor and quiet atmosphere. There guests could have a moment in quiet, take a rest from everything around them, and take a photo at our booth. At this booth the guests, their smiles, and love were the focus. They’d come up to the booth sans prop, smile, and take a photo. It was a tranquil experience.

It was such an incredible night of fun, laughter, and chic photos.

Another walk down memory lane.

Ylianna (former Miss Texas) & Michael Dadashi were a treat to work with. We provided our photo booth services for both their rehearsal dinner (pictured here) and their wedding day. The entire weekend was a one of a kind affair as we created a custom photo booth experience.

For their rehearsal dinner they wanted their photo booth experience to reflect a mix of Mexican flare and color with Texas charm. We provided an assortment of fun and colorful props that fit the bill. We had mariachi sombreros, cowboy hats, bouquets of paper flowers, a Davy Crockett hat, pennants with Texas sayings like Y’all & Howdy, and so many other fun props. It was such a fun night!

The wedding day was a grand affair!! More on that later.

It has been a busy month and it’s not slowing down. It’s been a special one as we turned 10 this month- a big deal for us. While the month is winding down there is so much to look forward to this week and in the coming weeks. Another walk down memory lane. This one takes us back to one of the first events that took us outside of the RGV. For this wedding we made our way to Houston. It was a crazy busy day. The main floor was to have the ceremony and we would not be able to set up until after it was over. And to make things more interesting we would only have one hour to do so. While the ceremony took place we waited patiently behind the scenes for our cue. We knew it would be tight because in that one hour we had to move all of our equipment to the other side of the very long room, and quickly set up EVERYTHING. That was an undertaking. We got our cue and the adrenaline was pumping. We (John Paul and I) hurriedly made 2 or 3 trips back and fourth with our equipment and somehow got everything set up in time for the guests to get seated. It was a whirlwind, but we managed. The night began with such a rush, but thankfully calmed down soon after. And it was a great night of glamorous photos.

On Sunday we celebrated my niece’s first birthday. It was a big deal in our family so we went all out for this very special occasion. The theme was One Groovy Babe so we created a custom prop collection full of groovy vibes, flower power accents, and sweet little details. We knew we wanted some hand props with fun sayings. On September 14, 2024 we debuted our latest photo booth at the Collage Gala. We are ecstatic to share our Portraiture Booth is now live. We have been a part of so many grand events and have had so many beautifully dressed individuals in front of the camera. These particular events call for something spectacular to capture all those beautiful people dressed to the nines. This moment should be memorialized in the most luxurious way. Treat your guests to a personal portrait session with our Portraiture Booth. They will be treated like the superstars that they are. Each group will step up to the backdrop, give the camera their best formal pose, click goes the camera, and guests then send the photo to their phone. A wonderful feature of this booth is that we have the ability to take a photo in portrait (groups of 2-4) or landscape (groups of 5+) orientation allowing for the best photo captured.
