Joes Catering by Buckshots

Folks use to come to Flintstone Park (our family park) on Friday and Saturday nights just to enjoy those famous Fried Crabs and Shrimp Fried Rice. Colleton (his mother) along with his siblings, nieces, and nephews, made sure everything was cleaned, prepped and ready for service. After Hurricane Hugo (1989) the park was destroyed, so Buckshot found different spots to continue cooking his good ole s

outhern food. Finally, he and his sister Miriam decided to open “Buckshot’s Carry-out”; folks came from all over the tri- county areas to taste good soul food. Later, they decided to take it a step further and opened “Buckshot’s Restaurant”. It’s a warm and comfortable locale with an inviting atmosphere to enjoy a crab cracking good time. Buckshot ~aka~ Joseph "Joe" Colleton got his inspiration from his father, The Late Mr. Thomas L. Colleton, Sr. and with hard work, perseverance and family members that supports him 100%, “Buckshot’s” has become a family restaurant that hits the mark for quality, style and service with a smile.
