We had a delightful afternoon at our Boxwood workshop! Did you know that there are 160 varieties of boxwood? Today we used native boxwood to make a mini tree with baby’s breath, white blooms, small ornaments, red birds and ribbon. Plus Mark shared other ways to decorate with the sprigs from placement on gifts to candlesticks! Thank you members and friends for joining us for this workshop! Located at Historic Brattonsville, Hightower Hall has been a well known feature of the York County landscape since 1856. The house has also been used as a film location for the Mel Gibson movie “The Patriot” and has been a popular location for weddings, receptions, parties, and Civil War battle re-enactments.
