How to DJ a Sweet 16 Party: 1. Do not waste time playing what you think they should like. Ask the kids what they want to hear and play that. 2. Teenagers, DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR MIXING SKILLS, or any DJ etiquette. They don't care about scratching, drops, transitions or beat matching. They just want to hear the music. Just play the song. 3. Teenagers don't really want to dance (kind of like adults). Just because they are not dancing doesn't mean they aren't having fun. All they really want to do is stand on the floor and wild out with their friends and occasionally shout the words to the song. 4. Always play the clean version of everything.
