VFW McHenry show Sat Oct 5 has 5 spots open.
2 jewelry openings, 1 wreaths / florals, 1 candles / warmers, 1 knit, crochet for baby items only - blankets, booties, the little jacket / panties sets. LOOKING FOR CRAFTERS of leather items, apparel, honey, jams, pickles, baked items like cupcakes, breads, cookies. Men items, sports items. Sewn & embroidery items - towels, hot pads, quilts. Tumblers, hair accessories, screened items - t shirts, onesies, towels. LOOKING FOR DS Reps from Avon or Mary Kay or Posh, DoTERRA or YLEO, LuLaRoe, Pink Zebra, Usborne (Paper Pie), Tupperware, Tastefully Simple.
Obviously everything listed will not get a spot. These are options to fill remaining spots.
If you have already signed up / paid please send pics of your items to the link listed in this page OR send to [email protected] so they can be posted for promo. Send your etsy link or facebook link or website for online orders too.

Hi all, getting a lot of messages / emails regarding extra table or shelf unit / rack allowed to be brought in for VFW.
Thes pics will show what you CAN bring in. If you have garments, blankets, doll clothes, purses - anything to be hung the garment rack shown is what you can bring in.
Little home decor items, candles, etc that fit on shelves - the shelf unit pictured is what you can bring in. If you have wreath racks please send email with pic of your items if you haven't already done so.
NO 6ft tables can be brought in. No 5x2ft tables either. 4ft is okay.
MUST have it approved PRIOR TO SHOW - I am not going to allow someone to bring a big rack or shelf unit in to 'see if it fits'.
There is only so much room for each vendor and I will have room between the tables so VENDORS CAN GET AROUND THEM - NOT FOR PEOPLE TO PUT SHELVES & RACKS IN THEM. Racks & shelve units will go BEHIND the table!!!

Same will apply to McHenry Moose show. If you need more room you will have to get a 2nd spot.

As many of you know - McHenry Moose lodge hosts sailors from Great Lakes navy base and kids from Moose Heart for Thanksgiving day dinner. Many area lodges that have a banquet hall do this just like McHenry VFW does.
Meeting at Moose tonight. WOTM (women of the Moose) will be doing their fall / winter / holiday craft & vendor show on Saturday November 2. I will be helping organize this so I will be in contact with lots of vendors.
Not sure of time frame yet but will be most likely 9am-2pm. 8ft table & chairs will be included. Aside from promo costs - ALL funds will be used for Thanksgiving day dinner event for sailors and Moose Heart kids. Coffee & donuts will be complimentary for vendors and WOTM will offer light lunch menu for reasonable cost.
I will be making a promo flyer and agreement and send out tomorrow. Can be paid by check to WOTM or paypal / zelle to me and I turn in $ at meeting.

It gets better with the scammers! I got an email from a scammer asking if I want to be in MY show!!! MARIAH CAREY is the name for the email and the link in it goes to a google form.

VFW McHenry show Sat Oct 5. Only a few spots open. Not everyone will get a spot that I have listed as LOOKING FOR'.
I am the ONLY contact for this show.
I have seen 5 posts from spammers!
$40 vendor fee includes 8ft table & chairs. Approx 8x5ft spot. Vendors can bring in 1 SMALL table OR 1 SMALL rack unless otherwise contacting me.
Aside from promo in NW Herald Lake & McHenry county and Best of Fox event page boosted, Chicago Tribune event page boosted, boosted page - ALL proceeds get donated to VFW for sailors & local vets TDay dinner event.
4 jewelry spots open - did not get payments from a couple people.
1 wreaths / florals spot open. 1 candles / warmers spot open.
LOOKING FOR DS REPS from Tupperware, LuLaRoe, Lilla Rose, DoTERRA or YLEO, Mary Kay or Avon or Posh, Usborne (Paper Pie), possibly others.
LOOKING FOR CRAFTERS of knit, crochet, sewn, embroidery items, soaps & lotions, honey, jams, baked treats, sports items, men's items, hair accessories.
Follow up email going out later today with vendor list so far.

Hi all, unfortunately due a couple health issues I have to cancel Sunday September 22 show at Wild Onion Lake Barrington IL.
I have not sent out email regarding this but will tonight.
I will be doing Saturday October 5 at McHenry VFW and a show at McHenry Moose with date TBD.

Talked to Deb at McHenry VFW today. Show for sailors TDay dinner event will be on Saturday October 5. 8ft table & chairs included. Have to confirm rental price. She okayed coffee & donuts for vendors & shoppers in email too. Show will still coincide with VFW breakfast 9am-2pm.
Doing a fall show too - looking at calendar for opening.

Hi everyone, I have posted the Cruise the Moose schedule for potential vendors who want to display / sell there.
$10 nightly with YOUR set up (tables, chairs, canopy {if you have one and use it MUST be weighted - no stakes}).
10x10 outside or 5x10 inside. NO electric.
Vendors will be by pavilion at rear of parking lot.
NO food trucks.

Promo flyer for McHenry VFW May 11 Mom's / Memorial day show has been submitted to NW Herald Best of fox event page enhanced and Chicago Tribune event page enhanced (What's Happening) so both should be able to be seen within 2 days. Think it said 24 or 48hrs to be approved / posted.

Also got info for Veteran's Honor Flight show / Quarter auction being held at McHenry Moose on Sunday May 19 and will be sending out for that. This is NOT my show, Moose is helping for this show since it is held there.

Confirmed for Fall show at Wild Onion Lake Barrington IL Sunday September 22 12-5pm in Great Hall & cascade room. 8ft table or 6ft table or 5ft round table or YOUR 6ft table options available. NO food or beverages included. NO food or beverages can be brought in except specialty food vendors of course. Vendors can order from regular menu. We will NOT have our own server, vendors will have to go to bar to order. Electric by wall only. 1 ds rep per company. I will be sending out email with info either later tonight or tomorrow. 1 SMALL table OR 1 small rack allowed to be brought in. NO extra 6ft tables. NO L shape spots.

Hi all, sorry for delay in email info etc - came back from Easter visit and got cold. My cousin's grandson was getting one when we were there.
I am getting caught up on emails etc. In process of confirming Brat show Kenosha WI in Wisconsin & Bristol rooms and Wild Onion Lake Barrington IL in Great Hall & Cascade rooms.
McHenry VFW has 10 spots open. 2 jewelry spots.
Will be setting up event page later today / tomorrow so pics can be added. Just a reminder the promo for VFW won't go out until after their own Auxiliary show April 13.

Every Tuesday evening with Cruise the Moose car show. $10 for 10x10 outside with YOUR canopy, table, chair. Vendors will be by pavilion. 5x10 spots inside $10 too. NO electric. This is a 4 hr event with set up at 4pm for vendors since cars start coming in after that time. There is no limit on who can be there as far as jewelry, candles etc..... only thing we will watch for is only 1 Scentsy etc.
Do a trip map - this is at McHenry Moose lodge which is located at 3535 N Richmond rd Johnsburg IL.

Heard from Alena Kim today who does VFW Spring Bazaar in April with their Auxiliary. Several people have asked about spots open.
I was told this show is full for vendors. Don't know who is in it or how many vendors there are.

Brat Stop Kenosha WI shows Sat Sept 14 & Sat Nov 9. 6 or 8ft table or YOUR table pricing. NO food or beverages included. NO food or beverages can be brought in. Vendors can order from regular menu.
Promo for Wild Onion will include NW Herald & Chicago Trib and their fb page as well as other pages. Sign in front of venue a few days prior to show.
Promo for Brat will be Kenosha news & Racine journal, banner in front of venue a few days prior, NW Herald best of fox page since it is right over the state line.

Email will go out tomorrow with agreement (for those who asked for it) McHenry VFW. Also info for Wild Onion show (Lake Barrington IL) for Sunday in September and 2 shows at Brat Stop in Kenosha WI for fall / Christmas. Waiting for agreement from Wild Onion and have to send back forms from Brat Stop.
Brat Stop will be in Wisconsin & Bristol rooms - these are the 2 rooms in front of building by bar.

THANKS VERY MUCH to all crafters & vendors who were in McHenry VFW show this weekend. To those who didn't hear the announcement - Deb the new manager came into the room to get the donation check and I introduced her to everyone. $700 was donated to VFW.
My next show at VFW is in May.
I got the list of all vendors interested in doing the VFW Spring Bazaar which is in April and will be giving it to Alena Kim who is Auxiliary president.
