With 26 years of experience in the marketing industry, Alexis brings a wealth of knowledge to the table. A proud graduate of THE Ohio State University, she began her career at a small PR firm before launching her own consulting business. Alexis also is a staff writer for a local magazine.

Before making Texas her home in 2013, Alexis and her family lived in Japan for five years. When she’s not working, you’ll find her spending time with her family and their Goldendoodle, traveling, planning their next trip, reading, boating, or watching sports.

Meet Us Monday: Stefanie Craig- Wedding + Event Sales

Favorite part of the job: Getting to meet all of the couples that are planning their weddings and see all of their ideas. It’s so much fun to see all of the different styles and tastes our clients come up with!
Favorite Flowers: Roses, ranunculus and peonies

After years in customer service and medical billing, she found her true passion in the wedding world. Starting as a weekend wedding coordinator, she eventually launched her own event decor rental business. Now, she’s a full-time wedding planner and works part-time helping clients plan their wedding and event florals.

When she’s not busy bringing wedding dreams to life, she loves relaxing at home with her family—including three dogs, two cats—and watching documentaries and movies.

Meet Us Monday: Yumi Akao- Floral Designer

Favorite part of the job: To be able to support the bridal client in preparing one of their most joyful event in life

With 25 years of experience in the floral industry, Yumi brings a wealth of knowledge and creativity to every arrangement. Originally from Japan, she studied basic design at the School of Floral Design in both Japan and Southern California. Over the years, she has used her skills working at a flower shop in Massachusetts, as well as in floral design studios and a wedding event company. Yumi is a member of the Japan Floral Designers Association and holds a Level II Certification. She specializes in wedding designs and modern Japanese styles, blending elegance and innovation in her work. When she’s not creating stunning floral pieces, Yumi enjoys working out and cheering on her favorite baseball teams.
