Myers Park & Event Center has a lot of fun events for dog lovers coming in February and March 2025. All of the following events will be held in the Show Barn.

February 1-2 - Bluebonnet English Setter Club & North Texas Barnhunters
February 7-9 - Den-Tex/TWANG

February 21-23 - DFW Golden Retriever Club

Well, here's something to get excited about... the Collin County Master Gardeners Spring Garden Show is being planned right now and sponsors and vendors are being lined up. The Show Barn at Myers Park & Event Center will then be transformed and full of Spring beauty.🪴🌹🌷🌻🌺🪴

As everyone in the Collin County area well knows, last week and weekend were full of weather surprises. Offices and schools closed down Thursday and Friday as the snow and sleet arrived. But Saturday & Sunday were beautiful as we got to enjoy the beauty that surrounded us as the sun returned and the snows melted. Now on Monday, we are back to business as usual at Myers Park.

We tried to get a good look at as many of the participants in the Swine Showmanship as we could. Unfortunately we can't get them all.

But, Collin County Junior Livestock Show has hired an official photographer for the entire show. Be sure to go to www.nicolehousephotography.com to check out her photos. Once you get to the website, click on the gallery and find the event you are looking for.

If you didn't get a chance to come to Myers Park & Event Center today to check out the Shop Projects on display, you missed some amazing talent. All of the projects were functional, creative and first rate. The teachers and students on all of the Collin County Ag teams are so talented. We'll just show you a taste of the creative projects this year.

The Collin County Junior Livestock Show finished out their Saturday at Myers Park with their Broiler and Breeding Poultry shows.

We're just getting started at the Collin County Jr Livestock Show with a lot of excited young people showing off their beautiful rabbits. The rabbits will be followed by the Poultry later this morning.

There is a lot of activity at Myers Park & Event Center today and it will continue all week.

Tomorrow all of the shop projects will need to arrive. They need to be ready and in place by 8:30 Monday morning. The judging will begin at 9am. Swine will arrive Monday morning.

We'll keep posting photos and updates as the week goes on. It's going to be a great week full of terrific young people showing off the results of all of their hard work.

The Collin County Junior Livestock Show is here and the Myers Park & Event Center is excited about hosting it again. Our exceptional ground crew was busy most of December getting the Show Barn & Stall Barn ready for the event. The fun begins this Saturday, January 4th and continues through Saturday, January 11th. Make time to come out and acknowledge the accomplishments of the fine young people who are associated with this great association.

Christmas JoyPark at Myers Park enjoyed a successful first night Thursday and is gearing up for it's second night, due to start soon. It should be a beautiful evening so be sure to bring the family out for an evening of Christ-centered fun.
