This is a tough message to share. After years of serving this amazing community, it’s time to step away from our food truck and pass it on to someone new. But not right away, promise.

Being part of your lives—through a simple taco—has been the greatest honor. The love and support from this community have been overwhelming, and there are no words to fully express our gratitude. But the reality is, the demands of this business have become too much for our mental and physical health, and we can no longer keep up with the pace it requires.

We didn’t want you to be caught off guard when you saw our truck listed for sale. This isn’t a decision we’re rushing. Finding the right person to carry on what we’ve built is important, and we’re even open to an operating partner who wants to keep Fresh Mex running while profit-sharing.

This isn’t goodbye just yet! You’ll still see us around as we start our next adventure—one that isn’t food-related but is just as exciting. We’ll always be grateful for every customer, every conversation, and every moment we’ve shared.

Hey, friends. Let’s talk.

It’s a new year, and before we dive into resolutions I’ll ignore by February, I need to say THANK YOU. Seriously. Thank you for supporting us, saying nice things about our food, and just being genuinely awesome humans.

Now, let me be real—this past year? Not exactly my best. It was a hot mess of family drama, health scares, and a sprinkle of manageable depression (fun, right?). Oh, and life and work didn’t magically stop during all of that because, of course, they didn’t.

But here’s the thing: every time you chose us—whether for your Saturday routine, your big celebrations, or just because you were hangry—you gave me something to fight for. You reminded me why I do this. You gave me a reason to shove my tears aside, stand up, and make another batch of salsa (even when I wanted to curl into a burrito of sadness).

So when I say “thank you,” I really mean:

• Thank you for letting me feed your families.
• Thank you for helping me provide for mine.
• And thank you for being the bright spot I looked forward to, even on my worst days.

You’re not just customers—you’re part of the story that keeps me going.

Here’s to a new year of less drama, more tacos, and even more reasons to laugh (preferably together). I love you all.
