Announcing Studio Christmas Minis! For the first time ever I am opening up slots for studio Christmas mini sessions! These will be in Newton on November 8. Plenty of time to get them done and delivered and Christmas cards sent! I have 8 spots open! A $100 retainer is required to secure your spot and the rest is due day of session. Bring your significant other or sweet family and let's make some special holiday memories! Share with your friends and family!

After the random rain showers yesterday the sun started peeking out and it was an absolutely beautiful night to take some engagement photos of Reagan and Macy at Coronado Heights! I can’t wait for this wedding in April!

Nicholas and Jordan shot some beautiful maternity photos tonight! They're anxiously waiting to meet their little one. Jordan was glowing and then the sun thought it couldn't be stood up so it popped out in all its glory tonight! So happy for you guys and wish you the best on this beautiful adventure!

Hey friends! Can you believe it's almost September!? We're almost to the Brr months! 🙌🏼 Just a reminder: It never fails to have a whole bunch of people messaging me by like mid-late October to try to fit in a session. I am usually pretty flexible and can make a lot of things work, but let's get on the ball early this year! If you have any thoughts of possibly wanting a family session (immediate or extended), senior session, or maternity let's get it on the books! We have so much more wiggle room and options when we book a few months out instead of 3-4 weeks. Haha So you can message me on here, send me an email, or go to my website and send an inquiry. The lovely Long family did so well tonight! These boys don't let mom and dad rest but I know they are full of life and joy and laughter! Raising littles is not for the weak! But it's oh so good.

Calling all Seniors! I know you haven't even started your senior year but it'll be here before you know it! I remember how exciting this time was and senior photos were just one of the perks! Just updated my website! This is your reminder about my client closet! Take a look at what I have and if anything catches your eye for your session coming up let me know! I can either drop it off sometime the week before your session so you can try it on or I can bring a couple to your session to choose from. My client closet page tells you all about how the process works! Check it out and while you’re there you can look at my other work and then you can send a message and book a session! I shoot seniors, families, weddings, maternity! If you have any other milestone or special occasions we can chat and see what we can come up with! Spread the word and share with your friends!

If it's not the Kansas wind, it's the unpredictable Kansas weather/storms! Tonight it was the Smolik extended family's turn to play the betting game with Kansas weather! We changed the session time at least 3 times to try to find a pocket of sunshine/no rain. We changed location 3 times because of the last storm and tonight's rain. But goal accomplished. We shot fast and furious in a tight 30 minute timeframe and got some great updated family photos for them! Thanks Smolik family for hanging in there with me!

We battled the classic Kansas wind and a rambunctious 2 year old tonight! The Holloways did amazing though and we got some gorgeous photos of their new little family of 4! Big brother is smitten with his 2 month old sister and we got some sweet photos of them. Thanks for braving the wind (up on Coronado Heights at that!) with me, Holloway family!

Andrew and I were able to get up to Minnesota and see my cousin and take some engagement photos with him and his fiancé! So fun getting to see some new scenery and hanging out with my cousin I don’t get to see often anymore. Conroy and Ana were great hosts and we loved getting to see their “neck of the woods!” Congrats you guys! And we wish you many years of happiness!

Last month I got to be part of another proposal! With a little planning and communication (and last minute location change - because Kansas City prom night! 😅😬) Peter and I pulled the big surprise off for Allison! Wish you guys the best!
