Part 2 of Christina's senior photos! Last August we walked around Little River and got Christina's first round of photos done and yesterday we explored McPherson some and got to take more gorgeous photos! I love when my seniors bring their personalities and their interests to their sessions! It makes it so fun and unique! Christina loves reading, Taylor Swift, and is going to KU (Rock Chalk!) in the fall! Good luck Christina and all 2025 seniors!

2026 Seniors: If you're having trouble deciding on when to take your photos and what season, I've got a package just for you! It's a two-parter where you can decide whenever you want to do it! We could do this summer and get a lot of summer/green weather and then some beautiful fall colors! Or we could do bold fall colors, then light, airy, fresh photos in the spring! I've had multiple people ask about mini sessions recently, and while I don't offer them as an option normally, I decided to open up a date for some mini session slots! These are a great way to get some quality photos quickly, and for less than a full session! Couples, kiddos, immediate families are perfect for these! Mother's Day is also right around the corner! I would have these finished by then! *cough*cough kids and husbands! ;)
May 4 starting time slots at 5:30pm.

This last weekend I got to freeze time with a couple special people and watch a dream come true for them! Reagan asked me a while back if I could document his proposal to Macy up at the Konza and of course I said yes! We've gotten to know these two through the fire department the last several years and it was sweet to be able to take these! Congrats you two! Can't wait for the big day!

When last minute sessions work out, bonus if it's an adorable family! Nicole has always wanted a family session to document these crazy, but precious years with her family, so I am so glad we could make this work! Carter is already the best big brother to Maveryk!

I was so excited get the Brown family in front of my camera tonight! You never know what you're going to get with two toddlers (mine included) and family photos! Johvi and Vivienne were troopers for some jelly beans at the end! Thankful we could get in before these beautiful trees' blossoms left us!
*Also when all else fails, let the 18 mo old carry the perfect-for-her stool around!

Spring is here! Summer is right around the corner! I know families take a lot of vacations in the summer and get together with extended family. I've had a lot of families contact me lately about doing extended family sessions and I love it! These are quickly becoming some of my favorite sessions!
For extended family sessions I do pretty much whatever you want! We can go wherever you want (mileage fee after a certain amount). We can do whatever combinations you want (big family, individual families, kids, couples, whatever!) You can bring props, or I have a few I could bring. And we try to get as many good shots as fast as possible, especially when it comes to young kiddos!
I also know how hard it is to pick outfits for your family, let alone a big group + in-laws! I have an outfit guide and inspiration board I send all my clients to make it a little easier! Plus, I have a client closet of women's dresses in a variety of sizes that you can choose from as well (check out my website for images!).

Camryn is still figuring life out at 3 weeks but still as precious as can be! Kennedy is adjusting to life as a big sister too! It's always fun to watch the dynamics change with siblings. Haley and Johnny definitely have their hands full but are loving it!

This has been the year of families/extended families and I've loved it! I love seeing growing families, big families, small families, younger families, older families, etc. and all their unique-ness! :)
These are some of my favorite memories to capture and preserve in my own personal life and clients' lives.
I hope everyone has a wonderful, safe, blessed Thanksgiving holiday! Don't take your families for granted!
