The adventures of playing in the cake world just keep broadening; Tried a new thing out on a couple of my cakes and that was decorating with culinary edible gold flakes, it’s real gold, it’s different and easy to use, but not sure if I’m a fan of it yet.
Next week however will be the entire week totally devoted to my other world I like to play in, and that’s the world of balloons.

Made a ‘Ms. Rachel,’ themed cake for a client last Friday, I’m not really familiar with that character, but I’m guessing that she must teach kids how to pronounce their words. Hope they taught their 1 year old how to say, ‘cake!’ 💕
And then last night and this morning, worked on a large ‘Fishing,’ themed cake for a young man in Anchorage who is celebrating his 18th birthday tonight. Loved it when his mom sent me a picture of the cake displayed at the party.

A few cakes made last week before we left to go camping.
A Minecraft themed cake and right away the grandkids knew exactly what the theme was just by the sword, a galaxy/geode themed cake made with crushed jolly ranchers for the rocks and a golf course themed cake with chocolate trees along with his and hers golf bags with clubs.
