I am Richard Perry, the Executive Chef of Classic Caterers and Longfin Grill Food Truck. With over 30 years of experience in the culinary industry, I have cooked in various cities across the country, as well as in the Virgin Islands and the French Antilles. My passion for fresh seafood and Caribbean BBQ shines through in the dishes that we serve at Longfin Grill.
Specializing in bringing the flavors of the tropics to the Patrick County, our menu features dishes infused with Jamaican Jerk rubs and Cuban Mojo marinades. Our seafood is brought in fresh from VA and NC Coast weekly, ensuring that our customers experience the freshest and most delicious flavors possible. Lightly Breaded with my own design mix from locally grown and milled variety of wheat and corn flours.
Having worked 30+ year as a Troubleshooter/Opening Chef for fine dining restaurants in the Southern States and Caribbean Islands, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Longfin Grill. I hold several degrees in Culinary Arts and have honed my skills through apprenticeships at renowned establishments such as the Trellis Restaurant and Colonial Williamsburg.
