Here’s a few practical tips to elevate your wedding design for the classy, timeless look that turns heads 👇
✨ Upgrade your table linens. Adding texture and pattern adds visual interest. Want a more affordable option? Be selective on which tables you upgrade - maybe just the sweetheart table, or alternate linen styles throughout your space. Even more affordable is patterned napkins, which still add a pop without the budget commitment of all of your tablecloths.
✨ Opt for nice chairs. Trust us, this can totally change the look of your space and give a reception space a whole new look.
✨ Use elevated plates or glasses. This could be using nice chargers, or opting to skip the charger and use fancy plates to stretch your decor budget further. Changing out standard glassware always packs a punch too!
✨ Add interest to your reception by mixing table shapes and centerpieces. Using round and rectangular tables automatically impacts the elegance of the space. Take it a step further by working with your florist to have two or three different centerpiece styles.

Great question! Here’s what you can expect during this meeting:
📋 Your planner, venue POC and sometimes caterer (shoutout @thejdkgroup ) will make sure we are all on the same page to make sure your wedding day is flawless.
📝 You’ll finalize your floor plan, ask any questions you have and gain insight into what layout will be best based on your vision and guest count.
🍽️ if your caterer is present they will collaborate with your planner to make confirm when dinner service will start, any butlered drinks or apps, and be ready to communicate that with their staff.
✔️ Your venue will assist with floor plan recommendations, make sure you understand what is available to you for the wedding day, ensure they are ready for set up and answer those last minute questions.
⏱️ Your planner will make sure the vendors get the timeline and know what to expect all throughout the wedding day.
It truly takes a village and it’s always our top priority to make sure you feel confident & relaxed so you can fully enjoy your big day as husband and wife!
