Some of you have met my amazing sister, Chelsea, who was my assistant last year. She wasn't able to help me this year since she's been a little busy in her SENIOR year of NURSING school! 🙈

Some vendors may have seen her sitting at a table in a back room with her books and binders studying. My couples saw a hard working woman! I see a superwoman! My sister has dreamt of being a nurse her entire life. That dream becomes a reality as she graduates nursing school next month! I couldn't be more proud of her. ❤

Second year in a row I've spent Halloween weekend at The Branch Museum and it never disappoints! The weather, the fall foliage, the music, the drinks, the food, the bride and groom... it couldn't have been more perfect. ❤

You wanna know something about the couples I've worked with and that book me... 99% of them have been referred to me by someone they know, on a page, or by a fellow vendor/venue! I met Autumn at her cousins wedding a year prior and I remember her telling me at that wedding that she was going to hire me to plan her wedding (even though she wasn't even engaged yet 😂 but she knew it was coming soon). Sure enough the moment she got engaged I received a text with a picture of the ring 💍 😍 It was planning time! I truly do love what I do and I love the people that I get to work with! 💕

We're approaching a year since one of the sweetest couples, Ashley and Scott, I've ever met got married and I can't help but share these now a little before their official one year anniversary. 🙈 Would you care to know some fun facts about this wedding?! 🤗

• Ashley took advantage of DIY workshop and spent time with her bridesmaids creating the gorgeous table centerpieces! 🌸
• The crescent moon arches for the ceremony were repurposed inside behind the sweetheart table. My assistant and I used a flat bed cart, transporting them one at a time, from the Belvedere to a hidden elevator that took us to a hallway downstairs used to transport the art through the museum. Because of the heat motion detectors we had to lean the arches all the way down while also pushing the cart to avoid the alarms going off.
• There was an absolute DOWN POUR about an hour before the ceremony. Myself, my assistant, and two staff members of the VMFA rushed to get all of the chairs wiped plus shaking off the water off of the flowers on the ceremony arch so that they wouldn't get ruined.

This wedding still went off without a hitch and was amazing! 💕
