it’s reflecting season over here, and when I look back on pictures from 2024 it reminds me of how lucky I am to be able to work with such kind and amazing couples, at stunning venues all throughout New England

THE LB 2024 WRAPPED 🌼

putting my undergrad statistics degree to use by making this little 2024 wrapped for you!!

it’s crazy looking back on this year, honestly some of these things feel like they happened YEARS ago but they were all in 2024!

endlessly grateful for all of you 🫶🏻 I am so lucky to have such an amazing group of clients, friends, family, and fellow vendors that are so open hearted, kind, and amazing individuals to surround myself with

a few stats not mentioned for you:

- 1 twisted ankle
- 4 shows binge watched while designing (NipTuck, Parenthood, Gilmore Girls, & Sons of Anarchy)
- endless nights lying awake thinking the flowers will die

as I was driving the u-haul around in the city yesterday I was reflecting on how terrifying I first was when I got behind the wheel of my first truck rental and that got me thinking overall about how much I’ve learned over the last 5 years of being in business

I’ll say this over and over again but I really didn’t know what this little business would turn into when I first started it - and there are so many things that have happened that have shifted and changed the business over these years

but I’m learning new things everyday - things that maybe seem SIMPLE but when you are DEEP in it (aka in your own head STRESSIN) you are questioning your every move

I posted a story a few days ago about working in “controlled chaos” and it might seem funny but it’s actually reality and I never want to pretend to be perfect on here - owning a business isn’t the easiest job, but I’ve learned so much over the years that it’s easier than it was on day 1

endlessly thankful for everyone who has supported LB over the years - I am nothing without you and I’m so grateful for this community 🫶🏻

red & pink winter vibes blessing your feed this am with A’s bridal bouquet from this weekend in Boston ♥️

this color palette we settled on is just SO good - it compliments the winter vibe so much while bringing in such a romantic punch and I’m truly obsessed

sooo many goodies tucked into the bouquet, featuring cymbidium orchids, sweetpea, mokara orchids, astillbe, peonies, roses, & hanoi ranunculus - SO GOOD

is it just me, or does this time of year just feel kinda romantic 🤍♥️🩷

December isn’t the most popular month for weddings but to me there’s something truly special about them and i always love having a few of them on the calendar to design for you

we are heading into the weekend with the second to last wedding we have for the year, celebrating in Boston!

looking back on this time last year, almost the one year anniversary for these two, tying the knot at a favorite venue of ours,

for mom 🤍

spent the last few days in CT with my parents (and Chris) for moms birthday

we sat at the table for over an hour looking through all the pictures my mom has taken of every single flower arrangement I have made her over the years, from the first ones I ever made with grocery store flowers

thank you for always being one of my number one supporters, I am endlessly grateful to have not only an amazing mother but a best friend

the first & maybe only wreath I’ll make this season 🌲

I paused wreath making this year, making this the first year in the business that I haven’t sold wreaths -it was a tough decision to make because I love seeing all your wreaths hanging on doors

I think sometimes as business owners we like to pretend that everything we do for our business we enjoy - that if we say we don’t like making something we just need to suck it up because “it’s what sells”…. well I’ll admit, wreath making for me is one of the most labor intensive things I create each year and is kinda hard on the hands…and quickly making 10+ wreaths turns into more of a chore than a pleasure

I’m trying to be better about setting boundaries with the business, with this being one of them - I think a lot about the longevity of my business and I always say that I never want to get to a point of resenting it or overworking myself that I no longer enjoy it - and I think it will be a continuous gut check over the years to ensure that I am true to myself

so thank you all for understanding the pause on wreaths this season - this might not be forever but for now it feels right

I will say, making this wreath today was fun and I felt free and creative in nature and THAT is exactly what I want to feel in every design I create - more of this everyday

over 5 years ago I started this small business, and just over 2 years ago I quit my full time job to run this small business full time

i found my passion, something that I never thought I could stumble upon and now that dream is a reality
