Registration Information for the upcoming Youth Choir Class in Grants Pass - classes start on April 6th!
Improving Your Voice - and Your Self-Confidence - through World Choir
with Harmony Sue
Learn and improve pitch, tone, harmony, rhythm, and general musicality while building confidence and stage presence through participating in a World Music Choir. We'll sing songs with different harmony parts and in different languages, working towards a performance at the end of the series! You do not need to be able to read music to take this class. Source recordings, vocal tracks, and other materials will be available on Google Drive to listen to or download.
This is an 8-week class series open to ages 11-15; please, no drop-ins after the 2nd week.
Class length: 1.5 hours. Please bring a 3- ring binder for music and lyric sheets.
Location: Newman United Methodist Church, on B St between 6th and 7th streets, in Grants Pass; go up the handi-accessible ramp in between the office and the chapel, go inside, then up the stairs to the third floor to room 29 (1st door on the left).
Dates: Thursdays, 4:00pm-5:30pm
April 6, 13, 20, 27 and May 4, 11, 18, 25.
Cost: $5/class ($40 for the entire series)
