Rainy wedding at Elm Bank
Rain! We’d just finished decorating the metal bird cage in the Italian gardens at Elm Bank when the cold drizzle turned to rain and the couple made a last minute call to move the wedding ceremony inside. We scrambled to take down the florals & implement the back up plan- event staff & bridesmaids pitched in, started screwing together the trellis and prepping zip ties and we turned out a floral covered trellis in less than 30 minutes - whew. It may not have been the wedding ceremony the couple hoped for, but it was definitely memorable! My biggest disappointment was not getting any photos of the birdcage - it was stunning!
