summed it up perfectly when she said…the storm had its moment (or maybe a few moments)…but the bride stole the show!

No one plans an august wedding in Southern Oregon. thinking they’ll have to prepare for anything other than smoke or 100 degree weather. So having a torrential downpour before the ceremony and a hail storm that knocked the power out and sent everyone scrambling for a dry place to hide was definitely not on anyone’s radar.

I cannot say it enough…I was BLOWN AWAY watching Taylor go through the day with the best attitude. The sun came out for her and Denis to say “I do” and all of the guests who stuck it out and ended the night with a tailgate party and a Bluetooth speaker, you guys are the true MVPs.

This years group of seniors felt a lot different. Watching kids that grew up with yours become adults has a way of wrecking the hardest of hearts. Please excuse me while I cry over next years seniors too since I’ll have ANOTHER one graduating! Check on your friends who have older kids…I promise we’re not ok.

I took most of this winter off. So long I didn’t realize my work email got disconnected from my website, so apologies if you reached out in any form and I haven’t responded. I’ll be catching up on messages here this week but please don’t hesitate to double text….

I didn’t realize the emotional toll your babies growing up and graduating takes on you. My body needed a reset. My heart needed the extra time with the kids. And my brain needed to slow down on saying yes to too many things.
But I’m slowly coming back. I opened my scheduling again. I’m saying yes to a select few weddings. And I’m ready to create some art.

Thanks for sticking around. This year is already so different and I’m really proud of the changes being made. 🖤
