~Meet Karen & Bobby. They Portray Santa & Mrs. Claus.

Karen is One of my Many Mrs. Claus Customers that I Design & Sew for.

Her & Bobby are Professional Dancers who Participate in Ball Room Dance Competitions.. I just Love to watch them move about the Dance Floor so Gracefully.. They are Truly Amazing,, "Poetry in Motion"...
I will try to Post some Videos of them Dancing later.... My Personal Favorite is watching them Dance to "Silver Bells"

The Dress Ensemble that Karen is wearing, I especially designed to Flow & Twirl Beautifully on the Dance Floor.. If You listen Closely, One can hear the Rustling of Taffeta Petticoats underneath the Red Velvet Skirt...

~Hello All ^_^
I want to give another Up-date, because I know that some of You Wonderful Ladies are anxiously awaiting for me to get Back to Sewing & Creating Beautiful Dresses & other Things.

Me & my Lucy have Not been Well..

I started noticing about a Month ago that the Vision in my Right Eye has become Very Bad. My Right Eye sees Things Very Dark & Very Blurry, & Much Smaller than what my Left Eye Sees Things.. .. I can Not See Well out of my Right Eye.
I have been going to an Eye Specialist. I was Diagnosed with having a Mass of Inflammation covering my entire Retina. I have been Taking a Steroid Eye Drop Medication for 3 Weeks. ~I had an Appointment last Tuesday for an Exam to Re-check my Right Eye. The Exam showed No Improvement at All, None!!! I was told that this could Possibly be Permanent Eye Damage with the amount of Time that has Passed By. I was also told that if the Inflammation can Not be Removed, then it will eventually lead to Vision Loss..
I Now will See a Retina Specialist on Tuesday the 19th, to Determine Further Treatments that may Help.. They don't know the Cause & No Underlying condition has been found.

I am so Scared, so Very Fearful..

I am One that has NEVER liked my Eyes to be Touched or to be Examined. I am a Difficult Patient because my Natural Instinct is to Protect my Eyes... I can be Very Defensive, & I slide down in the Chair trying to get away.. I Apologize constantly to the Eye Techs & to the Eye Doctors, telling them that I can't Help myself & I am Not doing these Things on Purpose... It usually takes 2 to 3 People to do the Eye Things that they need to do to me... I get this from my Dad..
Dad did Not Like His Eyes to be Touched..

I would Truly Appreciate any Prayers.. The Eyesight, Vision is the Most Precious Gift that Anyone can Have...

Now about my Lucy. She has Lost 8 pounds over the Past 6 weeks or so. I suspected Thyroid Disease, & I was Right. Bloodwork confirmed Thyroid Disease. All of Lucy's other Bloodwork Results were Surprisingly Good for her being 18 Years Old. That is 88 Years Old in Human Years.
The Thyroid Medication will Cost $90.00 per month, & another $120.00 a month for Bloodwork.. The Good News is that my Lucy is Feeling Much Better after having been on the Medication for 3 Weeks. She has Gained some of her Weight Back... Lucy will Need to be on Thyroid Medication for the Rest of her Life. Lucy will Die without the Needed Medication.
I Lost my Honey due to Thyroid Disease Back in September of 2007.

With All of my Medical Expenses, & with All of Lucy's Medical Expenses, & the Fact that I Ordered New Windows Back in the First Week of October that Cost $10,000.... will definitely be the Big PUSH that I Needed to get Back to Sewing...

I will Plan to get Back to Sewing & Creating within the Next few Weeks... I will Plan on making Pre-made Dresses & other Items to Offer For Sale on my Business Page.

I am Sorry, but at This Time, I am just Not Up to the Stress & Anxiety,, & the Extra Time & the Extra Effort & Work that is Involved to Make Custom Made Fitted Dresses..
Eye Doc tells me that I am to Try my Best to Avoid Upset & Stress.

If there are any Specific Dress Styles & Time Period/Eras that are wanted Please leave Your Thoughts in the Comments.

Also, Please Keep in Mind that I Work in a Factory from 4:30am to 1:00pm Monday through Friday-

~ I ask that You Please Keep me in Your Healing Prayers for my Eye to be Well & Functioning Again...

I have been absent for Quite awhile, & I have Not been Sewing or Posting Much at All since October of 2023.
I am Not Taking Any "Custom Made Dress Orders" at this Time. I have Not been for the Past Year, or So... ~I am Really Struggling to get Orders Finished that were Placed Way OVER a Year ago....

I wanted to Let Everyone Know that my Life has taken such a Huge Change since Dad had Passed on January 18th of this Year. The Last few Months of Dad's Life was Very Difficult Ones. ~I am still Struggling & Not doing Well since the Loss of my Dad. I Miss Him so Very Much!!! He was my Very BEST Friend!!!!

Momma had taken a Bad Fall on September 9th & she Broke her Right Hip. She had Surgery on September 11th, & made it through that. Momma is still in the Hospital, & is Now awaiting to be Transported to a Rehabilitation Facility. We have a Very Long Road ahead of us for Recovery. Momma also has Dementia, which is Progressively Worsening. She will be age 84 on November 28th.
~This is One of my Most Favorite Photos of Dad & Momma, which was taken back in September of 2015.
I Miss the Life that I Used to Recognize....
