** Traffic Alert TOMORROW **
Tomorrow is our annual 4th of July celebration and Fireworks show
The celebration will happen all day throughout Melba.
💥 Events begin at 6:30 am.
💥 Admission is FREE
💥The fireworks start around dusk
💥 Lots of people gather around the perimeter of town to see the fireworks, so traffic congestion will be more than those in attendance
💥 Expect traffic congestion and delays
💥 Be patient and nice to each other
💥 Don’t call 911 unless you have an actual emergency - our dispatchers are aware of the traffic congestion, especially after the fireworks
💥 If there is someone directing traffic, follow their instruction
💥 If you aren’t interested in the event, we suggest you plan ahead and avoid the area
Enjoy the celebration of our city and nation! 🇺🇸

Keeping in mind that parking is extremely limited, think about transportation options. If you're coming from outside of Melba, see if you can carpool with friends rather than driving separate vehicles!

We hope everyone is getting excited for the amazing celebration of American freedom on July 4th! It's less than a week away! Make sure you bring some cash to donate for the fireworks! (we also take venmo! ) The entire event is put on by volunteers from our community and we are sure proud of them! ALL PROCEEDS OF THE DAY are put into the costs associated with this grand event. Here's a couple of numbers for you: Fireworks $14,500; insurance $2,326. There are plenty more numbers as well!
Donations are how we keep this going! There will be donation bins at the information booth! Help us keep entertaining you!
