I’ll be honest;

I don’t have a speech written for my birthday post this year. I didn’t want to have to plan anything ahead of time, and feel exactly how I am in the moment of writing this.

My 30th year was absolutely incredible in more ways than one. I got to do a huge villain project for the Mouse, traveled overseas and explored Europe, ate some of the best food I’ll ever enjoy, learned to say “this no longer serves me” to improve the quality of my life, and so much more.
It’s the first year where I no longer feel lost and disconnected from myself.
For years I was struggling with self deprecating thoughts, and I finally have come into my power and accepted that my happiness is entirely of my own choosing, and I will choose it everyday, everywhere, and every time. I will live and love authenticity, genuinely, and with my whole heart. And that is something no one can ever take away from me without my permission.

It took so much time, mental fortitudes, and cleansing energy to get here, but I at long last see the person staring back at me in mirror, and I am so damn proud of her.

I am a goddess and I intend to see it through in my 31st year on Earth 💖

Nick absolutely blew it out of the water and made my vision (that I had yesterday because I could not for the life of me decide what I wanted to do) come to life.
I’ll be sharing several photos from this session because they make me feel SO special 🥰

Time for a long and heartfelt exclamation of my anniversary today
Half a decade has gone since the moment Nick and I exchanged vows in Savannah, and it feels as if it’s hardly been any time since that day. We had a fairytale wedding at a beautiful venue surrounded by some of our most cherished friends and family, on a day I can call practically perfect in every way.
We have encountered so much together in the last five years; From surviving a global pandemic not long after we got married, to traveling the world to amazing places, photographing and attending the weddings of several of our beloved friends, cultivating new goals and aspirations for our future, owning and managing a home, surpassing your culinary skills unexpectedly, taking a change on mew friends and developing some of the greatest bonds we could have asked for, and adopting the best Chihuahua we could have ever wished for. There have been so many incredible experiences that I can’t even list all of them, and each year becomes more and more exciting with endless possibilities.

We have learned to love each other in new ways, and have been there for each other throughout every moment. I don’t know how I would have been able to survive some of the challenges I’ve had to face without you, lending a kind and rational word to lift my spirits. You have always made sure to do your best and help in whatever way you’re able, whether with a task for our photography business that we’ve built side by side, or to bring me a form of happiness, you have found ways to calm myself in some of the most frustrating of situations.
And I could never express my gratitude in a way that would surmount to how I truly feel, but loving you wholeheartedly seems like the right place to start.

We have both changed and grown as individuals and have become different people than we were at the beginning of our relationship. I knew that things wouldnt be the same as the years go by, but the one thing that hasn’t changed by time is that you are my best friend. I married him then, and he has remained with me since. I have loved you from the moment I saw your name online 13 years ago, and my love for you is a flame that will burn everlasting

You make my heart feel weightless, like I could soar above the clouds,and the thought of your love still gives me butterflies, or bats in this case.

Happy anniversary my darling. I will always love you endlessly. ❤️

Amanda + Bobby are two lovely people that we've become friends with this past year, and have known we'd be a part of this day for a while! Bobby and Amanda's best friend contacted us to organize the perfect proposal capture for Amanda, at her absolute favorite place for her birthday!

We got in position and made sure we had them in view. The plan was to take group pictures with the park photographer, and then when Amanda was taking photos solo, she would turn around and he'd pop the question. While bracing to get ready, Bobby sent me a text saying "it's happening sooner than we thought, it's happening right now" and I cannot tell you how fast I RANNNNNNNN to make sure I got it! 🤣

I remembered she had mentioned in conversation that this would be the exact way her dream proposal would go, and I'm so happy we were able to make it just that ❤️

Also added the photo of the moment she realized I was there (because you will never see me)
